"You can't get stoned and be an accountant. You make too many mistakes, you lose people millions of dollars. You get fired." - Alex
For our monthly media episode, the usual viewer poll was skipped and an executive decision was made to watch Grandma's Boy. Cam had never seen it, and a couple of 2nd place finishes on the poll led us to decide to cover it this month. This popular stoner flick from 2006 brings the world of video games and cannabis together, two things many weed smokers love. While not the strongest offering from the Happy Madison crew, there's lots to laugh at in this comedic farce, and we had fun revisiting our favourite beats. The review segment this week is a bit of a departure, as we decided to have a Hash Off. Mood Ring, TGOD, Tantalus Labs, and 48North all get some attention on the table. Park your ears on the virtual couch and join the sesh!

Anti-Cannabis propaganda has been something that has gone hand in hand with Cannabis prohibition. This week the guys decided to dive into this insidious topic, talking a little bit about where this came from, before focusing on their own experiences and where it intersected with their lives. Despite the serious subject matter, there are plenty of laughs to be had, particularly at the expense of the Anti-Cannabis ads we all remember from our childhood. On the review table this week is the potent Canuck Cookies by Verte West. Hop onto the virtual couch with your buds Cam & Joel, and jump in the sesh. Any questions?

By popular request, this week on the Adult Cannabis Enthusiast Podcast the guys dove into some edible creations. Given the time of year, Cam & Joel decided to run with a Valentine's Day theme. Emulating the experience of a new consumer, they googled some recipes and narrowed down the list to 2: infused chocolate covered strawberries, as well as infused Red Velvet Whoopie pies. Many laughs were had sharing stories about preparation and shopping follies; it's always a good time with edibles. Up for review this week is the in-house Charlees Angel offering from Redecan. If you want to see the recipes and try em out for yourself, check out the link below.

Despite being 20 years old, this movie holds up quite well, and there are lots of laughs to be had as the guys riff on this one. On the review table we have the heralded Meatbreath from Gnomestar Craft Cannabis. Have a seat on the virtual couch, watch for sirens, and jump on in the sesh

We are expanding our scope and discussing some cannabis influenced hip hop artists on this weeks episode! The guys exchanged a couple of their favorite albums and then discussed their listening experiences. Joel chose the Black Sunday album by Cypress Hill and Cam chose the Man on the Moon: End of Day album by Kid Cudi. We had a lot of fun sharing these albums with each other and adding some new jams to our libraries.Once we finish up our discussion on these albums we turned our attention to the Orange Bud cultivar produced by Apothecary Botanicals in beautiful British Columbia. This tasty product is available through Cannmart's medical cannabis dispensary online.

-John McCLane
On Episode 53 of the Adult Cannabis Enthusiast Podcast, we discussed the holiday classic Die Hard, which won the listener poll on Twitter. While not technically a Cannabis themed movie, it certainly was enjoyable when paired with Cannabis. We had an absolute blast talking about this beloved classic from 1988. On the review table this week, we have the aptly named Gas Berries by Ogen. Join us for some laughs, good times, and ringing the new year with Hans Gruber. Yippie-Ki-Yay Mother Hubbard! -
On this episode of the podcast we discuss brand loyalty and how this has evolved for us since the beginning of legalization. We then turn our attention to Habitat's Caviar cultivar for our review segment. It's funny, this stuff was grown 40 mins from our homes but traveled half-way across the country before we could consume it!
