Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) originally filed in June 2021, The Black Vault has just obtained the official release of an email chain involving Luis Elizondo, the alleged former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), and Neill Tipton, a defense official who previously worked as the Director of Defense Intelligence, Collection and Special Programs.

Storch, has released an unclassified summary of a previously classified report titled “Evaluation of the DoD’s Actions Regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).” This disclosure follows a full version of the classified report issued on August 15, 2023. The United States Navy has denied the release of a classified video depicting a briefing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) led by the former head of the UAP Task Force, Jay Stratton. The Black Vault discovered the existence of the video in an email released through a FOIA case with NASA last year.
