Its easy to assume that because you are an introvert, that you are not going to feel comfortable showing up online.
I hear that all the time.
That is why this conversation needed to happen, because that is just a misconception.
Being introverted and being fearful of showing up online is indeed two different things.
Your fear of showing up online stems from a deeper rooted fear.
It could be a fear of:
Failure Being embarrassed Other people's opinions People not relatingWhatever that fear is, THAT is what is holding you back from showing up online.
Not from being introverted.
Guess what - When I started doing FB lives, I would sweat through my shirt I was so nervous.
Every time I do something new, I will sweat right through my shirt.
You need to get uncomfortable to learn how to be comfortable with doing something new.
You need to work through that fear and anxiety around the challenge that you face, or the challenge will win.

This two part extravaganza was really special for me to record, as my goal was to have an off the cuff conversation, at this exact moment in time.
For all of you who might be new to my world, you should know I am an avid journaler.
I have journals dating back decades that have a mismatch of information that act as a time capsule for my thoughts during that moment in time.
This is what I was wanting from this two-part series.
I wanted to go through all of my biggest learning curves, successes, failures, pivotal moments, etc.

This is a conversation that I was so happy to have on The Business of Becoming.
While I was growing and scaling The Wellness Business Hub, and while I was going through the phases and growing pains, I noticed that there was a lot of advice that would come my way, however only a fraction of what was said was actually true or helpful.
I found that everyone likes to give their opinions and advice, even if they have never been a CEO. Or even if they have never scaled a 6 figure company to 7, or to 8.
I will even get business advice and opinions from those who have never owned a business.
That being said, I still highly believe in business coaching and mentorship. The trick is to look for mentors that have already made it within the space you are looking to get into, or within the industry you are looking to work in.
On today's episode, I am discussing The Truth and Lies of Entrepreneurship with Yuri Elkaim.
Yuri and I took a very similar business journey within the Health and Wellness industry, so I was thrilled to have him join me to tackle some of the common misconceptions, and the raw truths, of entrepreneurship.

This is the kick off episode to the LAST season of The Business of Becoming.
*tear* Itās a bittersweet moment for me, but ultimately, bigger things are in the pipeline and I am looking forward to sharing it all with you.

It's been a minute since Iāve had a candid conversation with you all, so I thought, no better time than for the finale of Season two!
ā¦ and donāt worry, I am only taking a short break, and will be back the first week of July.
I wanted to take this opportunity to have a free flowing conversation with you and answer some important, bigger picture questions that I have recently received in my DMsā on Instagram.
Starting with the question from Jenn Pike. Jenn asked me a question that I thought was such an important question that we all should circle back to regularly.
āHow do you celebrate?ā
How can you celebrate and maintain that high level of delight, when things are always growing and moving very quickly?
Having constant change allows for so much celebration, that at times it's overwhelming.
Here's what I think. And Iāll preface this with I know that this isn't the case for every CEO.
It is important to set milestones and KPIs for your team, and celebrate your team when the goal is reached. They deserve to feel acknowledged for the work that they have put in to reach the goal.
For myself.. I don't celebrate my own little milestones, becauses I actually expect them to happen.
I am not saying that I am not grateful.. Because I am grateful for everything that I am able to do and achieve every single day.
But what I am saying is that reaching the goals and milestones is my purpose for growth. I want to integrate the feeling of hitting milestones into my state constantly.
So I celebrate the milestones with my team,and recognize this amazing company that is able to transform lives. That will always be worth celebrating.
