A leader in the dominant Arsenal side of the 90's, Sian went on to represent both England & Wales at international level. Sian explains her trasition through the years of playing at the top level of the women's game in England and also her experiences of playing in Italy. We also get an insight into the coaching that she has taken on including coaching Watford FC Ladies and how Sian now is balancing developing international girls footballers within her role as Manager of the England Schools FA under 15s side alongside working as a maths teacher at Hitchen Girls School.

Becky Foster joins us for this episode of TFFP where she shares her experiences around the demands of playing in the FA Women's National League for Bolton Ladies. Becky also outlines her duel career pathway by following her dreams of being a footballer whilst working full time as a teacher in the P.E department of Stockport Academy, Becky outlines her development pathway from being a relative late starter in the game to experiences at professional clubs to then moving into her role at the Tier 4 club she is now playing for.

Courtney joins us to share her pathway from playing senior football at Leicester FC Ladies aged just 15 all the way to firing goals in the WSL. Her route to the top includes playing for Coventry, Lincoln, Doncaster Belles, Everton and most recently Liverpool FC Women in 2019/20. Courtney also shares her experiences of playing international football after representing her country from U15 to U23 level including winning a gold medal in Russia after scoring a hat trick in the tournament. We get a real feel for what the modern day professionals role is like within the women's top level as Courtney explains the ups and downs of her pathway to success.

In this episode we interview Ronnie Green who is the Stockport County Ladies 1st Team Manager. Ronnie shares his insights into his coaching pathway from men's semi pro and amateur football, before then moving into women's football a few years later starting with his role as coach at Wrexham FC Ladies. At Wrexham he was very successful with limited resources then he explains moving into his current role manager of national league side Stockport County FC Ladies. He outlines how he and his coaching team have progressed the club and achieved a double with Stockport County. There's an insight into the requirements of how to be successful at various levels of the game, whilst making the most of the resources available to you and then creating a plan to improve the infrastructure at Stockport, who are looking to kick on and progress further in the next few years.

Katie joins us to share her vast experience over the 20 years she has spent at Argyle. She shares the requirements of achieving success personally and as a team at FA National League South Premier League level (Tier 3). Katie talks to us about taking on responsibilities at her beloved Plymouth Argyle, explaining her role within the club, on developing the future players through the the clubs pathways to the 1st team including from the development centre and how her role will change in the upcoming years.

Luke is a vastly experienced coach and manager in the elite level of English women's football. He talks us through his pathway from leaving University with his Degree from Myerscough College to taking the plunge into the women's game at Man City Women as a coach when the women's game was developing in England. Luke gives us an insight into his transition into full time employment within the game working at Liverpool FC Women where he won the WSL title amongst other trophies during his time at the club, coaching players such as Lucy Bronze & Fara Williams. He then progressed into 1st team management with London Bees working with Rachel Yankey as his assistant. Luke gives a very honest insight into coaching and management in the top levels of the game and he looks forward to hopefully working in the game again soon.
