Heretics involves a group of teens who break into the abandoned Simmons House, which (to our practical effect delight) all hell breaks loose.
Shelby Wright, Scott Mazzapica, Anna DeRusso and Neeley Dayan join Jose, Kevin Nickelson, Al Omega and Joe Flynn from the podcast.

Writer and Director Ansel Faraj discovered filmmaker stardom at the age of 20 with his professional debut film Doctor Mabuse. Since then he has kept busy with genre hits such as Loon Lake which is based on the Minnesota legend of Mary Jane the Witch. Legend has it if you cross her grave three times unfortunate events will likely occur.
While Ansel has found success, he warns fledgling filmmakers the industry is not all pomp and glamour. Join us as we jump into the finer points of Ansel's works and listen to his cautionary tales.

Bad Moon won't be confused with the cult classic American Werewolf in London, but it doesn't need to, in our opinion. While campy and thin on story Bad Moon spins a yarn from a dog's perspective and boasts some truly awesome animatronic work. Join Anthony DeRouen, Kevin Nickelson and Al Omega as we howl at the moon in Mad Moon (1996)!
-
We were saddened of the passing of horror legend Tony Todd. He passed away at 69 years of age with his family present. We honor the late Tony Todd by presenting a special show covering his legacy, along with an impromptu interview Kevin Nickelson conducted with him years prior. We hope you enjoy!

Bad Moon, written and directed by Eric Red, is an excellent Saturday afternoon werewolf flick that packs a fair amount of action and suspense. The practical and animatronic effects are standout, along with Primo, the german shepherd and star of the film. While not in our top three of werewolf films it does garner our respect.

Join us as we talk with Sandy on why she came back to the horror scene after so long, and her experience with lifelong Halloween fans.

Quinn Lord swung by the Grim and Bloody Podcast table and brown down all of the high points about playing Sam, the demon in a child's frame in the 2007 Trick 'R Treat, directed by Michael Dougherty. Although Quinn is 25 now we think he has one more Trick 'R Treat in him! During his stay Quinn teased the possibility of Trick 'R Treat 2! Holy smokes!

Steamboat Willie cartoon entered the public domain in the United States on January 1, 2024, as the work was published in 1928. Much hoolpa surrounded if and how the mouse would be used creatively by others, notably if the mouse would receive the horror treatment like our dear pooh bear. Not many did, except for Jaime Bailey.
We talk about his effort in crating a film that slashes throats but doesn't cross the fine line!

Horror veterans Robert Englund and Lin Shaye round out a well put together cast, running scared against the horrifying backdrop of Quebec, Canada. Oh, those crazy Canucks!

But not all films go on without a hitch. Today with talk with Travis Zariwny to find out what went right, and what could have used fewer hands in the cookie jar, so to speak.
