It's the biggest week in the history of Indiana football and there's no better way to prepare for the big game with two great guests!
Up first is planet Earth's foremost expert on the IUFB, Matt Weaver of Peegs.com. Matt is back to break down the matchup against the wretched Irish, catch us all up to speed on the haps in the transfer portal, and to give us his boots on the ground perspective in the eye of the CFP storm.
Then we're joined for the first time by former IU QB Chris Dittoe to revel in the giddiness and glory of IU's meteoric rise to national prominence, and to fondly reflect on his days playing for Coach Bill Mallory in the 1990's.

It's two VERY different conversations as the Hysterics and Brian Evans heap effusive praise on all things Indiana football, and then, unfortunately, have an open and frankly brutal discussion about the basketball program under Mike Woodson.

Episode 300 stars the greatest Hysterics guest of all-time... DJ Jazzy Jeff Rabjohns! And just as there has never been a better guest, there has never been a better time to talk about the undefeated 8th ranked Indiana football team and the 17th ranked Indiana men's basketball team. (Yes we count exhibition games!)
On the gridiron, Rabby helps us mere mortal Hoosiers wrap our smooth brains around the unprecedented accomplishments of Coach Cig and his staff, including their inclusion in the first ever 12 team rankings for the College Football Playoffs. On the hardwood, Rabby lends his expert analysis on what he saw in the warm-up games against the Vols and Knights, what to expect as the real season tips off tonight, and of course an update on the recruiting front.
Oh yes... it's truly great to be a Hoosier!!!!

First, we get the best guy in the business who covers IU Football to give us the latest on Kurtis Rourke and how he predicts IU will finish the season. Peegs.com’s IU Football Guru, Matt Weaver kicks off the pod.
Then, he came to Indiana in the wake of the greatest college team(s) of all time and helped lead the program back to prominence after a short rebuild.
His career got off to a rough start with a broken foot but when he was full strength in his junior year, he hit the game winning shot to beat Purdue in the 1979 NIT. He followed that up in his senior year when he hit clutch free throws to help lead IU back to the Big Ten championship.
After a 6-year playing career in the NBA he turned to coaching his high school alma mater, served as an assistant in both college and the NBA before leading the Toronto Raptors to their first ever winning season and playoff appearance.
He is outspoken and blunt and definitely his own man. His love for Indiana is as real as his relationships with some former teammates and coaches is complicated.
But none of that takes away from the fact that he plays a very important part in the story of IU Basketball. He was as clutch as can be and is one of the most overlooked players in the rich history of our beloved Hoosiers.
Our guest today is Butch Carter!
Oh…sorry…also, Ward had a stroke but didn’t let that stop him from recording this podcast to talk about the thing he loves…IU! That’s a “real fan” if there ever was one.
