The Jazz Notes have a new podcast formula! I cover four games this episode. The first one with the loss against the Washington Wizards, then three straight wins against the Tampa Bay Raptors, Chicago Bulls, and Brooklyn Nets. The Jazz had their issues in the first two, but got to find themselves again against the Bulls and the star-less Nets. Take a listen to hear what my thoughts were, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs on your minds.

Jack from the Hard Hitting Sports Podcast (a lifelong Celtics fan) joins us on the podcast for the second edition of the Celtic Pride portion of The Jazz Notes Podcast. The Jazz start terrible in the first but the defense keeps them in, both teams open up a scoring spree in the second quarter, then the Jazz are able to pull away with key 3's made by Mitchell in the end. Take a listen as I check in on Jack, and let us download our no-authority-given inputs onto your minds!

The Jazz rust is still present. Utah doesn't seem to adjust to all the glaring defensive issues, Gobert has a monster game, and after getting back in it a few times--the Jazz fall flat. Take a listen to the podcast (sponsored by Water) and let me download my no-authority-given inputs onto your minds.

We are back from the All-Star break and ready to take on the second half of the season! The rust really showed through our new green jerseys, Houston decides to take the almost bare-minimum required players to Utah, but they almost comeback from a 23-point deficit to make this game interesting. Take a listen to hear what I thought, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs onto your minds.

It's The Jazz Notes 50th Episode and 1 Year Anniversary! I go over the growth of the Podcast and answer listener questions! Then I talk about the night's game with the Pelicans, and that awful 3rd quarter. Laugh a little! Cry a little! (Like I did)

The Jazz are unable to start a long winning streak as the Heat continue theirs, the defense shows up at the end of the first quarter (but that's it), and the Jazz try a lot of questionable shots at the end of the game. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and let me whine to about my no-authority-given inputs.
-
A dominate performance from our Jazz tonight. After Mitchell and Gobert were named All-Stars-- Conley felt left out so started hot, the defense flusters the Lakers (to which LeBron was the only one who seemed to show up), and the Jazz put cruise control on in the 4th to secure another great double-digit win. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and let me download my no-authority-given input onto your mind.
-
Our Utah Jazz bounce back and record a franchise-record 3PM on the Hornets (again). Defense decides to take a first half vacation, our bench show up big this game, and the end of the 3rd to the middle of the 4th--the Jazz play their best basketball all night. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs on your minds.
-
Another great Jazz winning streak comes to an end (again). The Jazz fell victim to a poor shooting start (again), the Clippers find success in the paint while shutting down passing lanes (again), and the Jazz comeback in the second half (again) but this time falls short. Take a listen to hear what I saw this game, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs onto your minds (again).
-
Our Utah Jazz face the LA Clippers in Los Angeles for the first game of two for the Top 3 teams in the NBA. Aggressiveness takes over the game as neither offenses stay consistent, Rudy and Mitchell lead the way on both the offensive and defensive end, and the Jazz finally are able to pull away from this in the last quarter. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs on your minds.
-
Our Utah Jazz prevail in the matchup between the best records of each conference. The Jazz couldn't stop anything in the paint early, the threes finally drop to keep the Jazz in this contest, and Jordan Clarkson all but solidifies his 6th Man of the Year award. Take a listen to hear me complain about the first half, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs into your heads.
-
Our Utah Jazz return on the second night of a back-to-back, this time against a Heat team riding a four game winning streak. The Jazz start off ice cold from the field early, defense dominates throughout, and Royce O'Neale channels his inner Andrei Kirilenko with his own defensive dominance. Take a listen to what I saw this Valentine's Eve game, and let me download my no-authority-given input into your head.
-
Our Utah Jazz beat a streaking Bucks team to earn the best mark at 26 games in Jazz history. Very aggressive game from both sides all game, Joe Ingles ties his career high for the 6th time, and for the 8th time in NBA history (1st time in Jazz history)--four players on the same team score 25+ points. Take a listen to hear my thoughts on the night's game, and let me download my no-authority-given input on your minds.
-
Our Utah Jazz return home to face a good Celtics team that is finishing their road trip. Hot offensive start for both teams is followed by a defensive cooldown, Mitchell and Brown duel it out on the offensive end, then the Jazz finally were able to pull ahead with a few minutes left into the game. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and let me download my no-authority-given input on your minds!
-
***ALL-STAR GAME RANT ALERT*** Our Utah Jazz head to Charlotte for a back-to-back and show the sluggishness early, then they clamp down on defense and build a comfortable lead, but the Hornets would not go away and make it a close game in the fourth. Take a listen to hear my thoughts on the game, and let me download my no-authority-given inputs into your minds.
-
Our Utah Jazz start our mini road trip against the Trae-less Atlanta Hawks and continue to surprise the league. Both teams start off very cold but aggressive on defense, the Jazz wake up after the half thanks to Conley and Clarkson, and the Jazz continue their impressive defensive stance for another blowout win. Take a listen to hear what I saw, and find out my no-authority-given input on the night's game!
-
Our Utah Jazz return to Salt Lake City and were able to squeak out a win that was closer than it should've been. Mitchell takes complete control of the game on the offensive end, Gobert is left to guard three guys in the paint all game, and the Pistons pull within four after the Jazz constantly had a 20+ lead all game. Take a listen to hear what I saw this game and what my no-authority-given input was.
-
All streaks must come to an end. The Nuggets were on fire in the first half (especially Jokic), the Jazz just couldn't stop the offensive Nuggets firepower, and the comeback in the third quarter fell flat in the fourth. Take a listen to hear what I saw (no thanks to AT&T Sportsnet), and surprisingly my lackadaisical no-authority-given input on the afternoon's game.

Jack from the Hard Hitting Sports Podcast joins to discuss the Season thus far at the quarter way mark. We review our Preseason Rankings, go through our surprises in the East and West, and get to the "Celtic Pride" portion of the podcast where we talk about Jack's Celtics and OUR Utah Jazz in the end. I go over the best players so far this season, while looking forward to the rest of the season. Take a listen to hear our no-authority-given input on the season so far!
-
Our Utah Jazz keep their streak alive with another impressive win. The Jazz start off extremely well on offense and defense, General Ingles passes John Stockton on the Jazz Career Record 3-Pointers Made, and the refs made this game a lot longer than it needed to be. Take a listen and hear how tired I was, and give my no-authority-given input on the night's game.
