  • Welcome to the Bonus episode of the Startup Blender ๐ŸŽง Our guest, this time, is Matt C Smith (again) from South Africa ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Why are we doing this bonus episode? Good question! ๐Ÿ’ก

So, last week, we went to Estoniaโ€™s flagship startup and tech event, Latitude59. The experience was absolutely amazing โ€“ we attended captivating talks, met like-minded people, and interviewed interesting professionals working in a startup field. ๐Ÿš€

Now, all of those interviews we did were meant for the article in the Startup Adventures publication. However, one of the interviewees was none other than the talk show host (and our old friend), Matt C Smith. Our conversation was sooo interesting that we decided to put it as a bonus episode of the podcast as well.

Maybe you remember we did a full episode with Matt back in 2021 about his startup story. Episode 18. Anywaysโ€ฆ

Matt hosted the Late Afternoon Show during the Latitude59 conference, which was a Late Night Talk Show type of performance on the stage. He had six different entrepreneurs as guests, and the show even had a live band playing music in the background. Honestly, we have been to lots of tech conferences, but this is the first time weโ€™ve seen anything like this. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

In this short episode, we talked about his experience at Latitude59 and the story of how he came up with this original format for the conference. Enjoy!
