After a long break we are back with our biggest episode yet. An interview with the world renowned leader and yogi Sadhguru.
In this conversation recorded in 2020. KG talked to the guru about what can be learned from the whirlwind that was 2020, how we can approach life with a fresh perspective and also dabbled in a little bit of cricket banter ;)
We're so happy to be back and there is a reason we've been offline for so long. We've been working on something big. We'll make the announcement soon!
Let's get stuck in then! -

Hey there beloved listeners.
Updates on the economy since we last spokeWhat is the IMF and what is a stimulus package?Debt & DeficitsA country as a household, a GDP modelWhere is the R500bn going?Central Banks & Commercial BanksInflation, a really good example.
When you heard it, you must have had the same reaction as we did: 500 Billion Rand?!
It's a tough number to wrap the head around, and that money doesn't just come out of thin air. In this next episode. We speak to friend of the show, Stuart Mansfield, chief audit executive from Investec, you'll recognize him from Episode 2, we're happy to have him back.
As with the first Economic episode, we believe that wellness includes understanding the economic world, especially when numbers like five hundred billion that are being thrown around.
In this episode we cover what this support package means, how it will be used and check in on the state of wellness in the country.
TopicsPLEASE NOTE: We recorded this episode a few weeks back and have supplemented it with an update from Stu, the quality is a little different but important!
FINALLY: We've left one error in the Podcast from when we recorded on May 22nd, if you can spot it. We'll send you a Top Deck chocolate*

Greetings once again beloved listeners, we hope you're holding up as we are faced with a changing world.
National state of disaster Phasing out of stages National State of emergency Curtailed Laws Challenging The Regulations Understanding of The Regulations
We're pretty sure you know how the lockdown works, basically there are rules that have been set out to keep us in our households in order to prevent the spread of the corona virus, where the only time you are able to leave your house would be in accordance with the regulations. There are different stages with different regulations and the regulations ease of as the stages phase out, in order to allow economic activity in turn giving us back our freedom.
The reasons the regulations have been put into place are understandable but, they are also debatable. In this episode we explore if our rights are being unfairly taken away by the regulations that have been set in place. Are the curtailed laws overreaching ? Are they taking away our freedom unfairly?

Our latest episode is on a very important subject: education. The very fact that you are reading this description is because you are literate, an extremely important skill to have. We are sure you agree. As The Viral Wellness, we asked ourselves the question, "How important it is for the economy that we produce students who are literate, both in the world and in particular South Africa?" This drove us to explore basic education statistics that could support to children in becoming literate and chasing their dreams for the future. We were led on this episode by Alison Scott, Dr Stephanie Gottwald and Creesen Naicker - a knowledgeable, credible, experienced and forward thinking trio. Recording this episode was rather interesting...
