It’s on my mind this morning because I have bread in the pans ready to bake. The oven is heating up as I type this. Talked Fallout 4 and bread. Still reading Sarah Painter.
-
Lots of navel gazing about Why? this morning. Why am I doing anything? The morning readings come from 365 Tao. Today’s reading for day 192

Waxed philosophical this morning about feeling awake vs lost in the fog and how we’re all NPC’s in somebody’s life.
-
Much chillier than I had expected but it felt pretty good. Talked about the last couple days – bread, pens, books. A lot about bread. More about Fallout 4 and the current play through.
-
It’s the middle day of the year. I talked about that a lot. Also Fallout 4. Along with the normal blather.
-
Talked about the weather, the game, the Cat, and the book I’m reading: Westside Oracle by T.J. Deschamps.
-
Almost didn’t walk today. Glad I did. Mostly cloudy and a nice breeze kept the temps manageable even though I started late. Talked about Jerry Boyd, Fallout 4, and Roger Mulligan.
-
Got the bread baked by 6am. Ate breakfast while it cooked and got on the road as soon as it came out. Talked about changing up the bread recipe (forgot to mention lowering the hydration to 60% to allow for … Continue reading →

Not much to talk about today. The hearing aid journey, Jake’s Magical Market, Fallout 4, and – predictably – rye. Oh, and turkeys! I practically walked right through the flock of chicks.
-
I seem to have spent a lot of time talking about writing and very little talking about Fallout 4. I’m taking that as a Sign. If you look carefully at today’s image, you might spot the black dog racing through … Continue reading →

And grasses. Crested. Darn. Caught the post in the image but it’s taken in the same minute as yesterday’s. What’re the odds?
-
Talked about hearing aids, pens, and what a lovely morning it is.
-
Still getting used to the tin ears but I’m getting used to them. The world sounds very different and my brain wants to say “wrong” when it’s probably closer to “right” than I’m used to.
-
Well, old ears with new appliances. It’s going to take a while to get used to having treble again.
-
So was the weather. Talked Honor Rae and All the Skills, a lot about my pens, and a bit about Fallout 4 – along with the usual gaffing about the grasses and trees.
-
But not in pain. Oh, the weather was a bit on the lowery side as well. 🙂 I talked about Jason Hill’s Artisan series and Honor Rae’s All the Skills. Also – inevitably – Fallout 4.
-
Right at the beginning of the walk, a hen with about a dozen chicks came out of the shadows and crossed the road right in front of me. I wasn’t close enough to get a picture but it made my … Continue reading →

Cloudy sky. Foggy brain. Bread in the making. Talking about Fallout 4, Culinary King, and the state of the flora along the way.
-
Mostly just enjoyed being out in the air this morning. Lovely floral smells on the breeze – up until the end. Not sure what that smell was. Talked about Fallout, Culinary King, and Intermediate Wheatgrass.
-
Talked about Jacob Logan’s Culinary King, too much about Fallout 4 and Cait vs Danse as companions.
