While it Hazbin (pun intended) a little bit since our last episode, the Fallout (I will stop now) will be short. Tara and I lose our caps over Amazon Prime's new show Fallout, based on the video game of the same name, has blown away critics and fans alike. Directed by Jonathan Nolan and starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins.
Finally we get to talk about one of our surprise top shows of the year, and quite possibly of all time. We sing praises for the Amazon Prime show Hazbin Hotel. Created by Vivienne Medrano and starring Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Blake Roman, Keith David and Amir Talai. When Lucifer's Daughter, Charlie Morningstar, opens up a hotel in hell to help sinners get a second chance to get into heaven. Not everyone thinks she is up for the task, but with the help of some intense friends, she will prove she is every bit her namesake. -
We start the new year with some of the best movies we have see and some amazing 2nd seasons from some of our favorites. As we give our thoughts on Barbie, The Super Mario Bros Movie, Spiderman:Across the Spiderverse, and shows The Guilded Age and Julia.

When I was 5 years old, a movie came out that would change me forever. I'm talking about Jurassic Park and in celebrating it's 30th anniversary, Tara and I went to see the special edition in 3D. Then after looking at where this series started we look at where it ended with Jurassic World Dominion and where it went all wrong. Then as a palette cleanser, we watch 65 and see the "inspirations" it takes from Jurassic Park. If you are into dinosaurs, this is the episode for you.

The Sandman is out now on Netflix and features Tom Sturridge, Boyd Holbrook, Patton Oswalt and Vivienne Acheampong, based on the graphic novels of the same name, this show has all the things we love about Neil Gaiman and his story telling. We discuss our history with the graphic novels and the writers other bodies of work and why this works so well for newcomers (like us) and for fans of the comics. At 15 min into the episode, we discuss more in detail why the show is so great by getting into Spoilers!!! but you can hop back in at 30 mins where we discuss the first episodes of She-Hulk on Disney+ and A League of their Own on Amazon Prime. On this episode of Troy and Tara watch we talk about Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein and starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant. This was a great movie with memorable moments throughout that had us laughing till it hurt, striking the perfect balance of light hearted humor that never got too corny... Unlike our 2nd movie that we discuss, Burlesque, yes, that Burlesque from 2010 starring Christina Aguilera and Cher. Why you might ask? Well you will just have to listen to find out.

The Last of Us Season 1 on HBO Max has come to a close and we go deep into why this is a must watch for so many reasons. From the acting and direction to visual effects and even the music, everything in this show has proven that it is worthy of its source material. Showrunner Craig Mazin and the games creator Neil Druckmann have been able to bring this amazing story to a whole new audience as well as expand on the world of The Last of Us without losing what made it great in the first place.

Having grown up on Mel Brooks, I was very excited to hear that his History of the World would be getting a Part 2, what I wasn't expecting was that Part 2 would be a 8 episodes limited series on Hulu and star Nick Kroll and Wanda Sykes. Will it still have that Mel Brooks feel? We share our thoughts and hope you will too at [email protected] or on Spotify.

Let the Bodies hit the floor! We are getting ready for the spooky season and what better way to kick that off than with a slasher flick. Bodies Bodies Bodies starring Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, Rachel Sennott, Chase Sui Wanders, Pete Davidson, Myha'la Herrold and Lee Pace and directed by Halina Reijn. This movie hooked me in with the trailer and did not disappoint on the funny quips and insults that only can be pulled off by a 20-somthing of this millennium, with twists that keep you guessing who you should trust. SPOILERS at 6 minute mark and then at 12 minute mark we discuss the wonderful wrap up to season 4 of What We Do In The Shadows so SPOILERS!!!

On this episode we discuss an absolute homerun of a show in A League of Their Own, out now on Amazon Prime. Written and Starring Abbi Jacobson, this amazing show is not only filled with an outstanding cast; Abbi Jacobson, Chante Adams, D'Arcy Carden and Gbemisola Ikumel to name a few but also top notch writing. While this is not an exact copy of the 1992 movie starring Gina Davis, it does use it as a frame work for the characters and the time period to tell a much more poignant and inclusive story that has time develop over its 8 episode arc.
Finally we discuss the 2nd season of Only Murders in the Building, out now on Hulu and our first impressions of Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon and Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power. You can now follow us on Instagram, @troyandtarawatchpod. Thanks for listening and stay tuned for more.
