Happy belated October Friday the 13th!! We are coming to you with the first of two episodes we are doing for this month, both focused on The Exorcist franchise! First up is The Exorcist (1973)! This was such a fun movie to discuss. Tawny brought a ton of trivia for this episode and we had awesome conversations. I feel like we didn't have a lot of tangents for this episode. We talked a lot about different trivia, thoughts, and themes but all of them were related to The Exorcist. Possibly the biggest tangent was us catching up after almost a month apart! To wrap up our alien theme for September we're talking about Arrival! Is this technically a horror movie? Probably not, but we tried to justify it anyway since this was such a great movie we were dying to cover it. We get into how Arrival was robbed of awards (damn you La La Land) and the language that was used in the film. Hello everyone! Welcome to our alien movie month. Well, with Felicia's travel schedule we'll only be able to get in two episodes, but it still rocks!
