Now producers are cutting back on the use of oak and releasing beautifully structured and balanced wines that have outstanding versatility at the table.

I taste two cabernet sauvignons, True Myth and Paso Dragon (a Trader Joe's exclusive) both from Paso Robles and compare and contrast them. Both excellent values but both having a fruit forward style that may not be for everyone. Paso Robles is known for a lot of things but restraint is not one of them when it comes to its red wines.
