Episode 8 this week is with Tim Hartley a Cardiff City fan. Tim has written books about his travels watching Cardiff and Wales. Cardiff had a reputation of hooliganism in the 70s and 80s and Tim talks about that. His experiences also include going to watch football in North Korea as well as many other countries. Tim is a really interesting guy and has a huge enthusiasm and passion for the game so it was great chatting with him. He is going to come back and do a part two with us to tell us more about his experiences of following Wales around the globe which should be another really good listen.

He also tells a difficult story about being attacked when he was only 12 yrs old by an opposition fan at Rochdale away.

Episode 5 this week is with Dan a Sutton united fan. Again not a fashionable team perhaps and Sutton only made it to the football league for the first time a couple of years ago but Dan has been following them a long time and has some really different experiences given the levels they have played at. I love the fact Dan has followed Sutton so passionately for so many years given the number of bigger teams in the London area and it sounds like Sutton is a great club to be a opart of that really values its fans. His stories include some funny stories involving several beers and overnight stays
