In this weeks episode you get a 2-for-1! First Audrey tells the story of the beautiful Taylor Van Diest from British Columbia. When she was 18 years old she was brutally attacked and murdered on Halloween, her favorite holiday. Then Adde talks about the mysterious disappearance and murder of Dorothy Scott of Stanton, California. Almost 50 years after finding her remains, there have been no clues as to what happened to her.
-
This week Adde tells the story of Jimmy Hoffa, one of the most influential and controversial labour organizers of his time. While serving as president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters from 1957 to 1971, he got involved with organized crime. When he mysteriously disappeared in 1975 it was no secret that the mafia had it out for him.

Our big comeback episode features the devastating murder of 15 year old Elizabeth Ennen. She left her home in Lubbock, Texas to babysit, but never returned. After almost 3 weeks of unexpected events and plot twists, her murderer confessed.
In this episode we discuss some upcoming changes to revamp the podcast and improve the overall system that we have going on. This wouldn't be possible without you guys, so we'd love your input. If you have ideas for any changes or improvements, PLEASE reach out. We'd love to hear from you! -
Hey friends, we hope this week's episode makes up for missing last week. Audrey did a bit of a different take on true crime this week by covering Ancient Roman torture and execution. Let us tell you, they were some wackos. From using wild animals to fire, they showed absolutely no mercy for the condemned.
We also launched our official YWN Etsy shop @NightmareTCP and there's a lot of good stuff coming! Don't worry, we're planning to give Patreon donors a special discount code as a thanks to your loyalty. -
This week we covered our first haunted object. I guess technically he's our first haunted doll, but that's neither here nor there. In our minds he's the cutest little sailor we ever did see! Robert the Doll came from Germany in 1904 and now at 118 years old is still the most handsome lad of the land. In this episode we'll take a walk through the timeline of his life, his lovable little pranks, and what happens to those who disrespect him.
-
Hey guys! In this episode Audrey takes you to the haunted Historic Hotel Bethlehem where the spirits are friendly and fun. The land it was built on dates all the way back to 1741, so you know it's got some good history. Join us this week for some much needed laughs. You deserve it after the cases we've been putting you through.
-
Hey everyone! This week we decided to switch things up. Instead of one case, you're getting two short ones! First Adde tells the tale of Michael G. Schiller, a man who was executed three times. Then Audrey takes you on a trip through the thousand year timeline of the Loftus Mansion, also known as the most haunted place in Ireland.
-
Hey everyone! This week's episode is very disturbing and not for the faint of heart. It involves children, cannibalism, and self-mutilation. The story of Albert Fish is 100 years old, but to this day it remains one of the most horrifying serial killer cases in history. He terrorized New York in the early 1900s by kidnapping, murdering, and eating children. This episode does get very graphic, so we recommend you don't listen to the whole thing at once.

Welcome back to part two of DB Cooper! Last episode you heard all about the hijacking, robbery, and the beginning of some theories. This week we dove into some crazy conspiracies about whodunnit and a possible CIA cover up! Reach out to us and let us know who you suspect and what your theories are!
-
This week's episode is brought to you by The Flu and Bedroom Renovations!
In this lighthearted episode, Adde begins the 2 part series of DB Cooper, one of the most infamous plane hijackers in history. This week you'll learn the timeline of the hijacking, but make sure to stay tuned for next week when we unwrap some theories behind the sunglasses and clip-on tie. -
Hey everyone sorry this is a bit late, I wasn't feeling too well the past two days and I fell behind on editing.
This week Audrey tells the tale of Mary Flora Bell, an 11 year old that murdered two toddlers and tried to pin it on her best friend. While this case is as grim as it gets, it ends on a somewhat neutral (?) note when it seems Mary was truly reformed in prison.
The two books I used are by Gitta Sereny: Cries Unheard: Why Children Kill - The Story of Mary Bell & The Case of Mary Bell: A Portrait of a Chid Who Murdered -
Happy New Year Everyone! This week Audrey decided to spice things up with a paranormal story. The Eastern State Penitentiary is known for being the most haunted prison in the United States, but it has 150 years of history to show for it. From torture to riots, the people inside these walls have a chilling story that deserves to be told.
-
Merry Christmas everyone! This week Adde takes us on an 70 year journey through The 27 Club conspiracy. Did it start with a deal from the devil, or is it just a coincidence?
-
In this week's episode, Audrey tells the gruesome tale of Katherine Mary Knight, a butcher from a small town in Australia. After an abusive childhood and four failed relationships, she finally snapped in the most horrific way possible.
-
Hey friends! This week we're coming at you with our first (kind of?) listener stories! Huge thank you to Michael at the Xtreme Paranormal podcast for making this episode possible. I know Audrey promised a good case this week, but she came down with a gnarly ear infection. What better time to do an episode on notes we already have? In this episode you'll hear Mike's tales from working security, Adde will teach you how to fight off sexual predators, and Audrey will get way too personal with her own stalker story.
-
This week Adde tells the story of Lizzie Halliday. Was she Jack the Ripper? Probably not, but she was just as terrible. The facts of this case have been jumbled around over the years; however, there's one thing we know for sure. That bitch was crazy.
-
In this weeks episode, Audrey tells the badass survival tale of Diane Pranske. We used this episode as an opportunity to make fun of the man who committed the crime, so we hope that you can laugh with us. Though the case itself isn't funny in any way, shape, or form, we wanted to be able to make light of it by insulting a (almost) murderer. We hope everyone had a great holiday!
-
In this weeks episode, Adde takes us back to the 1900s where somehow the murder victim isn't actually the victim of the story. The case centers around a beautiful girl named Evelyn Nesbit who falls victim of her mother and two creepozoid men. Fear not, Evelyn lives happily ever after, but we can't say the same for everyone else.
-
In Part 2 of the Baseline Killer case we talk about five other murders that this monster committed. We also discuss the conviction of Mark Goudeau for these crimes, but law enforcement absolutely ruined this case. The conviction sits in a very gray area, so please reach out to us with your thoughts and opinions!
-
This week's episode is dedicated to the one and only Michael Xtreme! He sent this case to us a few months ago and Audrey decided it was long overdue to talk about the Baseline Killer. This is a very heavy case and needs to be two parts due to the length of Audrey's over-extensive notes. Are we surprised? No. Definitely not. However, we are sorry for making you wait another week for part two, but we promise it's worth the wait!
