There are tons of courses out there for endodontics, full mouth rehabilitation, aesthetic dentistry & even implant dentistry or facial aesthetics (something that is rarely taught at the graduation level). Still many dentists with a graduate degree pursue short courses & fulfill their dream of practicing these branches.
However have you ever given it a thought, as to why are there are only handful courses of orthodontics?
In this episode I speak to Dr. Kaushal Kishore, a super energetic dentist from Chennai who not only pursued his dream of treating orthodontic cases but also became an international speaker for the POS training program. He has conducted orthodontic courses not only on India but also Singapore, Australia and through Europe.
Hope this episode will inspire a few dentists ! :) -
A lot of students get confused about which is the best branch or college for MDS ?Hence we have come with this podcast for all the NEET MDS aspirants. In this episode we have discussed with the recently post graduated dentists & PG dental students about:
How to fill the counseling form for MDS ? Must we choose the branch over college or vice versa ? What to expect during post graduation in orthodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, pedodontics etc. What to do if we have preference of 2 branches for example if we like both OS and orthodontics? Must we think about stipend / fee structure ? Should we select the branch according to future prospects ? Must we deicide a branch based on whether we are planning to start consultation or open a private clinic ? DR. RAJEEVE CHITGUPPI the pioneer of WHAT AFTER BDS shares his thoughts on WHY SUCCESS DOES NOT DEPEND ON THE BRANCH WE CHOOSE. (His talk will give you goose bumps)Must we think about selecting our college based on where we plan to start our practice in future ? When to think about appearing for NEET again next year? (When to take a drop for study) Government colleges VS private colleges.College recommendations from the PG students themselves. -
The MDS COUNSELLING PROCESS is a stressful time for many PG aspirants. They have to be clear about what to fill in the forms depending on their rank but there is a bit of confusion regarding the all India VS state counseling & domicile related issues.
Hence on the 32 MINUTE podcast I planned to interview some of the MDS students & freshly post graduated dentist regarding the entire process. I am hopeful that this episode which will be released in 2 parts will help all the MDS aspirants.
📣 In this podcast we have discussed:
What is next - after the announcement of the counseling dates ? How to fill the preferences ?Which round gives us the highest chance of getting the MDS seat ? What if we fill out the preferences but are not happy with what we get ? We have to pay a security deposit - how much is that ? If we decide NOT to go ahead with what we get, what happens to the security deposit amount? How DOMICILE affects state round preferences? Can we know the previous years SEAT MATRIX? Tips on best practices. What all are the check points that will help us decide which branch / college to choose from ? BRANCH VS COLLEGE ?and much more …
The podcast is based on REAL PERSONAL EXPERIENCES of all the students speaking in this episode.
✅We have tried to touch up on all possible questions that an MDS ASPIRANT would have.
