    Kevin's Four Pillars of Health:

    Nutrition:

  • Diabetes and obesity are two major health concerns that affect millions of people worldwide. These conditions can have a significant impact on an individual's quality of life and can also lead to a host of other health problems. Currently, treatment options for these conditions include lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise, as well as various medications. However, not all treatments are effective for everyone, and some can have unwanted side effects.

    Recently, a new treatment option has emerged for diabetes and weight loss: semaglutide. This medication is a type of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, which means it works by mimicking the effects of the hormone GLP-1. GLP-1 plays a role in regulating glucose levels and appetite, making it a promising target for diabetes and weight loss treatment.

While cardio does have its benefits, research has shown that resistance training can be much more effective for weight loss.
