Inspired by the Brothers Grimm, Peter Christen Asbjørnsen and Jørgen Engebretsen Moe were Norwegian folklorists. They're famous for their Norwegian folktales, particularly East of the Sun, West of the Moon. Many of their stories feature giants, trolls, and other creatures that inhabited Norway.
