Lee Ann Whippen – Deviled Pig Restaurant
As the founder of Wood Chick’s BBQ in Virginia, Lee Ann Whippen was
thrust into the national spotlight as a competitor on the show BBQ
Pitmasters. She was first runner up in barbecue at the World Food
Championships in Las Vegas and bested chef Bobby Flay with her pork
shoulder on the Food Network show Throwdown with Bobby Flay. She
was a partner in several Chicago-area restaurants, including Chicago Q.
Whippen recently opened the barbecue restaurant Deviled Pig in
Tampa, Florida with Jennifer Daskevich. -

Amy Mills was raised up on smoke, sauce, and Magic Dust®. Heiress to
the 17th Street Barbecue empire, she’s the industry's go-to girl for all
things barbecue. Recipient of the coveted Barbecue Heroine prize, she
leads 17th Street alongside her dad, Mike Mills. She also runs OnCue
Consulting, the only barbecue business consultancy in the world,
offering seminars and training in the culinary techniques behind great
barbecue. She’s a featured judge on various barbecue shows such as
Best in Smoke, Kingsford Invitational, and Smoked, as well as co-star of
the Mills family’s own digital series, Peace, Love, and Barbecue, which
debuted on YouTube in 2016.
Peace, Love, and Barbecue, co-authored with her dad, is considered a
classic in the genre, was nominated for a James Beard Foundation
award, and awarded the National Barbecue Association Award of
Excellence. Their next book, Praise the Lard, will be published in May
2017. -
Ardie Davis, is a well-known judge on the barbecue circuit and the
founder of Greasehouse University. Davis is also the founder of the
American Royal International BBQ Sauce, Rub, and amp; Baste Contest
Davis founded the Diddy-Wa-Diddy National Barbecue Sauce Contest in
his backyard in 1984.. -
Jason is a native of Thibodeaux, Louisiana who has made his name as “The Cajun Ninja” by cooking on the social media platforms Facebook and YouTube. His first cooking video went viral in 2016 and it currently has over 30 million views. Jason believes in sharing his passion for cooking through entertainment, empathy, and kindness towards others. He is the president of Cajun Ninja Products and also has a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in TaeKwonDo. He is currently married to his amazing wife, Misty and together they are raising three beautiful girls. He’s come to realize that having girls means most compliments are geared towards his beautiful daughters taking after their mother, and he’s ok with that.
