Are we led by the Word of God or the thoughts of Satan? No matter how great we are, we are nothing without the grace of God.
-
There will always be two paths before us. The path of Satan that seeks to deceive us and lead us to destruction. Then there is the path of God that leads our soul on a blessed road of peace. Just like Noah always saw the clouds and the rainbow together, though it might seem Satan will win, God’s promise is what ultimately stands and is fulfilled. When we look upon the rainbow, our faith is ever more assured. Our salvation from Jesus is His gift to us.

The raven was sent out by Noah to see if the waters have receded. However, the raven does not return even though there is no place for it to rest its feet. On the other hand, the dove was sent out and it returned when there was no land to rest upon. It then went out and came back with an olive leaf showing that the waters are abating. When it didn’t come back the third time, Noah knew the waters had completely abated. In spiritual life, the most important thing is not that we should labor and do something. True spiritual life comes about when we surrender to God And let God lead my life. That is the most blessed life and that is the faith of the dove.

Jesus already received all the punishment for our sins. This mercy and grace has given us eternal life.

He only requests that we accept the Word of God exactly as it is directly into our hearts. Then we can also partake in the salvation of God.

The heart is easily corrupted as it goes towards its own comforts. It ends with death. However, Noah receives grace from God not because he was special or did not sin. He received the heart of God. He followed the Words of God. Regardless of our thoughts the Word of God is more important. When we throw away our thoughts we can find grace in the eyes of God when we go up to Him.
