Bjarke Pedersen has been creating worlds ever sense he was given a copy of The Hobbit by his local librarian. He’s since left his own shire behind and traveled the globe working on the forefront of an emergent theater; Live Action Role Play (LARP) except, in Nordic LARP, players don’t just run around fields throwing pretend thunderbolts at each other (though that does happen). Instead, players create the very worlds they inhabit in real time. This is participative theater. When Bjarke started down this path, he didn’t know where it would take him, but the route he’s been on has been incredible. Adrian Todd Zuniga is truly a writer’s writer. He loves the process of taking an idea from the ether, moving it through his own experience and background and putting it on the page. And he’s done so in practically every medium you can imagine, going so far as being nominated for a Writer’s Guild Award for writing the story mode of Madden ’18 – Did you know that Madden even had a story, let alone a WGA nominated one? NO? Well, that’s on you. Currently Adrian Todd is writing his second novel, but this interview was conducted shortly after his debut novel, Collision Theory was released. You can learn about all the different places you can read/see/hear Adrian Todd here: https://adriantoddzuniga.com/ and check out more from Building Momentum at www.buildmo.com and you can find our podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and if you like what we’re doing – hit the subscribe button!

Jackie and Brian truly live up to the phrase, “Never met a stranger.” The Social is their Ice Cream Shop/community hub in Brooklyn, NY where not only can you get a scoop, but meet a friend, share a story, and revel in everything that makes Brooklyn great. But The Social isn’t their first foray into ice cream – Jackie and Brian are also the founders of Ample Hills, an ice cream shop that sold out of 130 gallons of tasty treats in just four days after it’s opening in 2011. But Ample Hills’ unfortunate bankruptcy in 2020 was just a part of Brian and Jackie’s story. Not the end. Join us for an awesome chat about ice cream, family, and moving forward. Bernardo Cubría literally saw the face of God when he was 7 years old watching “Jesus Christ Superstar” live on stage. Logan Coles is a writer, director, and producer of films such as 21 Bridges starring Chadwick Boseman and JK Simmons. But Logan didn’t always want to be a filmmaker – his first plan was to be a big-time lawyer like Blair Underwood and Corbin Bernsen on L.A. Law. Once he got a taste of being a ‘real’ lawyer from a summer job with his Aunt, Logan knew his plan laid elsewhere. That experience, plus a traumatizing (not for him, but the audience) sketch he performed in front of his church led him on to Howard University, and eventually, Hollywood. Between making sourdough, playing animal crossing, and watching literally all of Netflix, the team at building momentum decided to make a podcast! We went out and searched for some of the most interesting people we knew and invited them on to talk with us. We laughed, we cried, we made something special that we were excited to share with the world...
So two years has gone by huh? There's been a few hiccups along the way and alot has changed in everyones lives. My children are older, I'm older, and our company has grown in so many ways. Other companies may have trashed this project after so long, but we aren't other companies. Besides, I'm delightful, and y'all deserve to listen to me.
I’m Allen and this is Build Mo and this is my podcast, Breadcrumbs
I'm the Chief Storytelling Officer at Building Momentum and we are a creative problem solving agency. Build Mo does so many things. We run an event space. We opened a drive-in movie theater. We teach design thinking and facilitation. We aren't one thing and we wanted a show that reflects our far reaching interests.
At Building Momentum we love just siting down with people and asking them to tell us a bit of their story. Sometimes that's all we ever do with those people, sometimes we end up working with them for a long time, and sometimes we find a lifelong friend. However it ends, it always starts by sitting down and talking. So it made sense that this show would be built on that same model.
We thought a podcast would be an ideal platform to have these conversations and celebrate those who are following their true north. So join us for the release of this new and exciting podcast! Let’s break some bread together.
