Jessica Wachter is a highly-acclaimed abstract expressionist artist based in Bismarck, North Dakota. Her mixed media and oil on canvas work is strongly gestural and often large in scale. Her work contains personal celebrations, struggles, joys, loves, and losses conveyed through the use of color, texture, and composition. Working with abstraction, Jessica seeks to imbue the work with a tangible essence while keeping it open for the viewersâ own response.
Jessicaâs pieces reside in public and private collections throughout the world. Her work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions around the United States. Hosts to her work have included, among others, the International Art Basel Event in Miami, FL, Laguna Gallery of Contemporary Art, in Laguna Beach, CA, the juried Celebration of Fine Art show in Scottsdale, AZ and the Plains Art Museum in Fargo, ND. Jessica and her work have been acclaimed in major publications and media throughout the United States.

Jazz Hampton is CEO and General Counsel at TurnSignl. TurnSignl is a Minnesota-based tech company that provides real-time legal guidance from an attorney to drivers, all while their camera records the interaction.
Hampton has been featured on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, MSNBC, CBS, NBC Top Story, and was recently named one of Minneapolis-St. Paulâs 40 Under 40 for his work at TurnSignl and in the community, where he sits on the Board of Directors at the Academy of Holy Angels, Spare Key, and Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis. George McGraw is a leading expert on water and sanitation in the United States and around the world, and is often featured in global media including Forbes, CNN, NBC, and more. He currently serves as the Founder & CEO of DigDeep, the only WaSH (water, sanitation and hygiene) organization solely focused on the USA.
In 2019, he co-authored the âClosing the Water Access Gap in the United Statesâ Report, an explosive study that revealed over 2.2 million Americans currently live without a tap or toilet at home, with race being the #1 predictor of water insecurity.
In 2022, he was the lead author on Draining: The Economic Impact of Americaâs Hidden Water Crisis which illustrated that the water access gap causes a loss of $8.58 billion per year in the US economy.
The report also found that there is hope: for every dollar invested in closing the water gap, the US economy would see a nearly 5:1 return.

How George discovered that water poverty affects over 2.2M in the US, many of which live on less than 4L of water per day and the mental, physical, financial and psychological disadvantages of not having access to clean, running water.
George shared the ways DigDeep has worked with communities in Navajo Nation, West Virginia, and the Texas-Mexico border to provide clean water to hundreds of families, and shares stories about the magic of being present and building long-term relationships with each person and their uniqueness.
These relationships and other social change principles are what George drew on to innovate affordable water delivery systems and develop unique, inclusive solutions for each community. George offers inspiring insight into the meaning of social entrepreneurship and how to be a leader through challenge and hope.

Boozhoo! My name is Kyler McGillis and I am a tribal citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. I am the Founder of AIRO and currently serve as the Executive Director. My Traditional name is Inabiwin Nigig (Lightning Otter) and I am affiliated with the Turtle Clan.This past Spring, I graduated from the University of Jamestown with a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing & Management. Over the past year, I have had the pleasure to intern for four great companies listed at the bottom of this page. Throughout my experiences with these internships, I learned many key lessons in business.
During my time at the University of Jamestown - I received the âKnight Awardâ. This is a highly prestigious award given to a student who is passionate about becoming a UJ graduate, has been deeply engaged in co-curricular experiences and has demonstrated perseverance throughout their journey. Following that, I was also awarded the âWilliam J. Klaudt Awardâ, which is for Overall Outstanding Achievement in the department of business, accounting, and economics at the University of Jamestown.

My passion is helping the lives of my fellow Native American people. Starting this nonprofit organization was not an easy task - yet, I always kept consistent because I knew the good it could bring. Through the many hours of paperwork, the frustrating process of creating the website, calling the IRS who leaves me on hold for hours - it is worth it. It is worth it because I know many of our Indigenous people have the potential to do amazing things. All it takes is a little bit of resources, support, and/or funding.

Dr. Jenny Nuccio is the Founder and CEO of Imani Collective â a social enterprise and holistic womenâs empowerment program in Mombasa, Kenya committed to breaking the generational poverty. Having lived as an integral part of her Kenyan community since 2013, she is committed to the collaborative advancement of equitable opportunity for the friends she works with every day, as well as for marginalized populations world-wide.
She also is the Co-Founder of the School of Ethical Impact and brings a unique intersection of both classroom and real-world social entrepreneurship expertise. She holds a M.Ed in Leadership Development and Communications and a Doctorate in Education where her doctoral research was focused on the resource gaps presented for social entrepreneurs and the challenges they faced in implementing change. She has a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Texas A&M University as well as corporate sustainability and innovation certificate from Harvard University.
Jenny has been involved as a fellow with the Stanford|Seed Transformation Program through Stanford University and the IKEA social entrepreneurship program as well as a constant advocate for women empowerment and sustainable practices in the social impact sector.
But this is only part of her identity as most days you can find her laughing with her kiddos, wondering the streets of Old Town Mombasa, or simply enjoying a great cup of Kenyan coffee.
She wears many hats, but some of her favorites are being a wife and mother of three who is passionate about spreading joy and helping inspire women from all walks of life to pursue their dreams and step into their true potential.

Fred is a recent graduate from North Dakota State University. He recently received his masterâs degree in Education. He is the co-owner of Umoja Leadership Exploration and creator of FredsDissonance. Fred is a community engagement specialist, motivational speaker, community educator , program coordinator, and spoken word artist from North Minneapolis.
The things he has seen speak through him with the energy he provides. He is passionate about helping others find their inner greatness and potential. He currently does writing workshops with hundreds of college, high school, and middle school students. Fred provides testimonies and stories of struggle and resiliency. With nine brothers and sisters, Fred is the tenth and last child.
Before he was born, his mother had her tubes tiedâshe had a .0001% chance of becoming pregnant after her last child. Fred was that .0001%.
In this episode, Fred embodies his dream to celebrate and uplift culture of the African Diaspora and other underrepresented cultures, especially in Fargo, ND, how he leads with vulnerability as a âreal modelâ not a ârole modelâ, his incredible experiences of meeting spoken word, and inspiration for his dream for a world that is inclusive for everyone.

In episode 1 of the Changemaker Rehab podcast, Heather McDougall speaks with Ashley Kitchens, Founder of Plant Centered Nutrition.
Ashley Kitchens grew up on an Angus cattle farm in small-town Indiana. As you might guess, meat and dairy were a big part of daily life. Unfortunately, so were GI issues like chronic constipation. For years, she was told to manage her issues with medication instead of considering the food she was putting into her body.
She earned her Masters of Public Health and Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and became a registered dietitian in 2012. But, even after all that, her issues didnât completely go away. It wasnât until she did personalized research to dive deep into her own life and eating habits that she noticed a significant change.
After that transition, Ashley knew there were others who could benefit from a diet filled with more plants. She also knew it was critical for the coaching they received to be based on a deep understanding of their unique situation. Thatâs when she realized why she became a dietitian. Ashley made it her mission to help others transition to a plant-centered way of eating through a holistic approach and intuitive eating practices.
