Networking; building connections and nurturing relationships, used to be something I did regularly and with ease.
However, in 2020 the twins were born - pandemic kicked off - my business grew - world became more virtual - I became less flexible ...and a little time-poor!
It has become something I squeeze in, or am reactive to.
Only spending time nurturing those relationships that are in my immediate realm of work / life.
It felt like my network shrunk.
Recently I decided to shake things up, however, and prioritise time for "coffee chats". (Want to book in for one? Link in comments section..)
Reconnecting with people.
Connecting with new people.
It has given me SUCH joy.
In this podcast episode I chat about how sparking conversations I have been able to:
Help solve some burning career and leadership issuesFacilitate other connections and introsLearnt stuff .. my brain is just bursting!Challenged my perspectiveRekindled old partnerships; planted the seeds for new onesSparked inspiration and ideas in othersAsked for advice around some of my own challengesFelt supported and part of a communityWOAHHHHH, HOW AWESOME IS THAT
... all from a few coffee chats / week.
As always, LOVE to hear from you.
Does this resonate?

One of the worst parts of the big C, was the impact it had on my mindset - throwing me into a fear zone - losing a sense of who I was - making me want to hide away from the world.
Finding my way back was a journey.
In this emotionally charged podcast episode I share how I went from rock bottom and “existing” to living an authentic and courageous life. One of my design!
I chat about:
The importance of reconnecting with your personal valuesKey questions to ask yourself when you derail, to get you back on trackHow to move out of fear-based living and decision-makingBuilding a compelling vision to inspire and motivate you when you feel stuckThe fact we have 2 lives…. What it means to be true to yourself, and how it can change your lifeI’m a leadership coach who speaks about life, because I value both. I help leaders across the globe find their sweet spot between ambition and living an awesome, and authentic life.
This is part of my story in living my best authentic life.
Enjoy,

Hack your brain; change your life. I live by this!
We all experience stress during growth and change, it’s how we are wired. We all experience it differently, yet we all have good and bad reactions.
Being self-aware is an absolute MUST as a leader; however, what you do with this information is the game-changer.
As we progress our careers and grow our businesses, it is essential that we prioritise time for mindset work to ensure that our own brains are not the number 1 derailer or block we have.
Let’s face it, there are enough challenges and complexities out there as a modern leader, we shouldn’t be fighting against ourselves too. Right?
Today’s episode I share:
How I uncovered my de-railers, and how I navigate them. Why this has been a game-changer for me in my career (and life probably too!) Stories from a few of my leaders … I love a story, don’t you know! The importance of this for leaders to unlock potential and progress their careersSome simple ways you can improve your own ability to navigate stress and growthLet me know what jumps out to you from this episode.
