Taro Kudo brings us his one and only fully-realized soundtrack and it's a banger. Konami released an obscure shoot 'em up in the early days of the SNES and it stood tall with the others. With experimental sound effects and themes, Kudo utilized the SNES sound chip to its maximum capability to bring a soundtrack that cemented it as one not to be missed.

It was inevitable. This soundtrack has been on everyone's minds for years. Mike and Jesse sit down to discuss one of the NES' finest soundtracks. Composed almost entirely by Takashi Tateishi, Manami Matsumae (of Mega Man 1 fame) is credited for her contributions to the first game as well as helping compose a new track. These two composers working together bring forth a force to be reckoned with in video game composition.

From the backwoods feel Raynor's Raiders to the militaristic might of Mengsk, the soundtrack keeps the story ever present and engaging. Mike also says farewell to Jon, who will be taking a step back from hosting for a while.
