A judge ruled that Jennifer Gledhill cannot have contact with her children. Prosecutors say the children could be witnesses.
The defense claims the protective order is "an overall heavy-handed kind of punishment." Defense attorney Jeremy Deus told the judge, "It feels like the state, the city, and the police agency that investigated this are trying to set everything my client loves on fire." The judge lifted the protective order but maintained a no-contact order.
A police informant helped break the case when he told police that Matthew Johnson was murdered by his wife, Jennifer Gledhill. Pressed for more details, the informant claimed he knew what happened because he was having an affair with Gledhill, who had confided in him about the incident.
According to the informant, Gledhill told her "lover" that her husband yelled at her after discovering she was seeing someone else. Later that night, when he went to sleep in their shared bed, she allegedly shot him in the head. The informant also claimed Gledhill said she placed Johnson's body in a rooftop storage container, slid it down the stairs of their home, and loaded it into a minivan. She reportedly told him she dug a hole "north" of their home and buried the body in a shallow grave. Matthew Johnson remains missing.
Investigators also spoke with a neighbor who reported that Gledhill's parents were at the house cleaning late into the evening, despite her motherâs claim that they had only been there for an hour. Gledhill's mother allegedly said she bought a mattress from Amazon at her daughterâs request. Jennifer Gledhill's parents have now been arrested as well.

The investigation into Sean "Diddy" Combs has entered new territory as a New York federal grand jury hears new evidence. According to an attorney representing some victims, a male client of hers is testifying today.
This development follows new information about requirements Combsâ employees reportedly enforced for admitting women to his White Parties. According to sources, these requirements included: women could not weigh over 140 pounds, with weight verified by a nearby scale.
Other restrictions included no flab, cellulite, excessive piercings, or heavy tattoos. Women had to avoid short hair, pants, or jeans and instead were expected to be young, attractive, and dressed provocatively. Each woman had to wear a short party dress just covering her buttocks, along with stilettos.

Richard Allen's confessions have been a focus for testimony this week in the Delphi Murders Trial. Prosecutors have noted that Allen confessed 61 times.
John Galipeau, the former warden of the Westville Correctional Facility, testified that Allen wrote him a note in 2023 that read, "I am ready to officially for confess killing Abby and Libby. I hope I get the opportunity to tell the families Iâm sorry." Galipeau said Allen admitted to getting rid of a box cutter in a dumpster behind his work place.
A clinical psychologist who examined Richard Allen, told a jury that Allen said his intentions were "sexual," and that Allen called himself âtoo much of a cowardâ to kill himself. During some of his confessions, Dr. Monica Wala said Allen gave specific details about the crime, which only the suspect would know.

RJ McLeod and Krystal Mitchell meet when she shows him an apartment. McLeod, a large man, is a bodybuilder and former Marine. As they start dating, Krystal tells her mother about this new man in her life, noting that he is also a devoted father to his son. Krystal confides in McLeod about her issues with a stalker, and McLeod gives her a gun for protection.
The pair travels to California to visit some of RJâs friends in San Diego. After socializing with his friends, RJ and Krystal head to a local bar for a few drinks. They return to the condo after 1 a.m. About an hour later, the friendâs wife hears a woman sobbing, followed by a sound like âah,â and then silence.
The next morning, McLeod greets the friendâs wife as he passes through the kitchen on his way out of the apartment. The friend and his wife leave, but when the friend returns around 1 p.m., he finds the apartment silent. He opens the guest bedroom door and immediately calls 911.
McLeodâs friend finds Krystal Mitchell in bed, partially nude, bloody, and deceased. On the 911 call, he initially tells the dispatcher, âthis is a homicide.â He adds that he tried unsuccessfully to revive her. Investigators later determine there were clear signs of a struggle, with furniture shifted around the room. Krystal Mitchell sustained numerous injuries, including blunt force trauma to her face and torso. She had been strangled, with multiple fractures around her neck.
Investigators learn that McLeod returned to a nearby bar around noon to pay his tab from the night before and retrieve his credit card. He tells a waitress he has a âflight to catch.â McLeod takes Krystal Mitchellâs car to the San Diego airport, parks it, rents a different car, and drives into Mexico. Police name RJ McLeod as a person of interest in Krystal Mitchellâs death, and officials issue a warrant for his arrest on murder charges.
For six years, investigators believe McLeod is hiding in Central America or Mexico. Reports emerge of sightings in Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico, but McLeod remains elusive. Authorities finally capture him in El Salvador and return him to the United States, where he claims Krystalâs death was a case of rough sex gone wrong.

The King County, Washington, 911 call center receives a call an area known for multi-million dollar homes in the Fall City area at 4:55 am. A 15-year-old boy says he is hiding in a bathroom on the main floor of the house because his 13-year-old brother, Benjamin, just shot is family and then "took himself out."
Another call comes in to the 911 center at 5:02 am. Bradley Dennis lives down the street from the Humiston residence and says the 11-year-old sister of Andrew Humiston arrived at his home ringing the doorbell over and over until they answered the door. The girl says her family has been shot and are all dead. Bradely Dennis says the girl appears injured by a possible gunshot wound and she is bleeding from her neck and hand.
The 11-year-old girl tells 911 dispatch she survived the attack by pretending to be dead when the gunman came into her room. As soon as the gunman left, the girl says she climbed out a "fire window" and ran into the middle of the street. When she looks into a window at the front of their home she saw the gunman who shot her.
When an operator asks who that was, the girl tells 911 that her brother is the one who killed everyone--and she is terrified he will come to the neighbors house to kill her.

An Ohio woman convicted of fatally shooting her boyfriend after he broke up with her to go on a date with a beauty queen is back in the news.
When police arrested Shayna Hubers, she claimed that Ryan Poston was abusive and that she was trying to escape from him. She now says sheâs ready for new love.
In her WriteAPrisoner profile, Hubers states sheâs seeking âsomeone who wonât judge me by my past, but by the woman Iâve become.

Sean "Diddy" Combs faces seven new lawsuits from alleged victims of molestation and sexual assault, bringing the total number of plaintiffs to 27. Two of the latest anonymous plaintiffs are minors, and several unnamed celebrities are cited in the accusations. Each case has been assigned to a different judge, with at least two judges asking plaintiffs to justify their anonymity.
Many victims report similar experiences of being drugged with laced drinks at Combsâ parties, later waking up disoriented with either memories of assault or physical injuries suggesting assault. Two of the latest plaintiffs, including a 17-year-old boy, accepted party invitations from Combs hoping to advance their music careers. Some attacks date back to the early 2000s, with others as recent as 2022.
This comes amid reports that Combs allegedly required staff to carry various drugs for his use at all times. Kristina Khorram, his chief of staff, reportedly enforced this rule to ensure Combsâ drug of choice was always available.
Among the alleged substances were pills, ecstasy, marijuana gummies, and GHB, with one of Combs' preferred drugs reportedly being "pink cocaine," a mix of ecstasy, ketamine, caffeine, and the psychedelic 2-CB, also known as Tusi.
Former NBA player and recovering addict Lamar Odom says pink cocaine can cause auditory hallucinations. Itâs also reportedly the same drug Liam Payne used shortly before falling to his death from a Buenos Aires hotel balcony

On day five of Richard Allen's murder trial, jurors heard testimony from the forensic pathologist who performed the autopsies of Abby Williams and Libby German, as well as from a witness who saw the 'Bridge Guy' on the day of the murders.
Dr. Ronald Kohr, who previously reported that he believed two knives were used in the killings, testified that he now believes the 'serration' seen in some of Libby's wounds was likely caused by an element on the handle of the blade. Kohr suggested that a box cutter with an extra thumb grip could have been the sole murder weapon. This testimony surprised Allen's defense team and directly contradicted Andrew Baldwin's opening statement, aligning instead with the state's claim that Allen used a box cutter to slash the girls' necks.
Sarah Carbaugh, a lifelong Delphi resident who was walking her dogs on the afternoon of February 13, 2017, also testified about her sighting of the 'Bridge Guy.' She said she saw a man walking west on Country Road 300, covered in blood and mud, as if he had fallen on the trail. Carbaugh later recognized him from the video clip released from Libby's phone, but waited three weeks to report the sighting due to anxiety.
Allen's defense questioned Carbaugh about discrepancies in her description during cross-examination, noting that her recorded interview mentioned blood only once. Baldwin also pointed out unusual details in her description, including her remark about the man's "effeminate eyes." Carbaugh pushed back, reminding Baldwin that over an hour of her interview video had been accidentally destroyed.
Jurors have yet to hear testimony on Allen's 61 confessions. Among the hundreds of pages of court documents released since the start of the trial, a signed confession letter from Allen, stating, "I hope I get the opportunity to tell the families I'm sorry."

The search for missing mom Suzanne Clark Simpson has entered its third week, while her husband remains behind bars and refuses to cooperate with the investigation.
Police and search teams have searched four locations around San Antonio, uncovering no new evidence in the momâs disappearance. After four days, police have ended the search at a landfill in southeast Bexar County. Authorities said they focused on the site after GPS data led them there and were confident they would recover Suzanneâs remains, but now admit they found no evidence during the search.
Olmos Park Police have resumed their search for Suzanne Simpson in wooded areas around Olmos Park. They have enlisted the help of Texas Search and Rescue and continue to ask the public to leave the search to professionals. Foot searchers and dog teams are combing several areas for any trace of Suzanne.
At his arrest in Boerne two weeks ago, Brad Simpson was charged with unlawful restraint and assault. However, the husband of the missing woman is now also facing a federal gun charge, 10 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine. Simpsonâs family turned over his arsenal of weapons after Suzanneâs disappearance, including an unregistered Grand Power Stribog SP9 A3, a short-barrel rifle. He also owned several silencers.
Simpsonâs defense attorney claims police are manipulating public perception of his client with âludicrousâ charges. Steven Gilmore repeats that Simpson reported Suzanne missing immediately after learning she missed kindergarten pickup.
He also insists Simpson wanted to cooperate with Olmos Park police but suspected authorities were trying to obtain an arrest warrant when Chief Villegas rescheduled their follow-up interview three times.
