In this episode of Digitization Mavericks, we are joined by Jim Vantyghem, a manufacturing veteran with more than 30 years of industry experience. Jim has spent much of his career focusing on CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system) with companies like Guardian Industries, and currently, Gentek Building Products. Jim is currently in charge of 10 plants throughout North America with the primary focus being on supporting maintenance programs, data collection, and business acumen.
Jim is a huge advocate for bringing the human side into autonomous maintenance doing everything he can to build proactive cultures and positive mindsets and focus on the soft skills of management like empathy, leadership, and more.
