We’re still coming off our high from the Halloween season as we talk about our experience at the Mansfield Reformatory Blood Prison. The touch passes are definitely worth it and you can check out the recap on our socials or by listening to this episode! There wasn’t a ton of news this week, so we discuss a couple Halloween celeb sightings, the upcoming Wicked release, and the ending of Nobody Wants This.
In Bravo news, we recap the season finale of RHOC. The tacky bridesmaid party was fun (except not everyone leaned into the theme) and we felt like a lot of the drama that was brought up was ready to be squashed. We’re tired of the kids getting brought in in weird ways and Shannon fleeing the scene when someone looks at her the wrong way. With the reunion starting this week, we’re guessing we’re going to get a full 3-parter in typical Bravo fashion when a season performs well. Compared to last season, we definitely enjoyed this one more even though some of our opinions didn’t align with the general public!
Our Book Club will be pushed back a bit this month. If you’re planning on reading along with us, we’re reading Men Have Called Her Crazy by Anna Marie Tendler. This one took a while for us to get, so get on that waitlist now! If you love us, leave us comments on social media and YouTube, or write a review with your 5-star rating. If you write us a nice review, DM us and we’ll send you some of our new stickers! Don’t forget to follow our socials, and find us on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. Happy Halloween! Hannah and Ailish are back for another week and are finally able to reveal their Halloween costumes: the two versions of Maxine Minx! While you can’t see out whole costumes, the blue eye shadow and bleached brows really make the look. We also discuss some recent, celeb costumes and some other plans we have as we round out the Halloween season. This week, we loaded up on movies, so we break those down as well. Ailish watched Late Night with the Devil and It’s What’s Inside, while Hannah watched Infinity Pool and Woman of the Hour.
Things are fully starting to unravel on RHOC. It’s finally coming to light that all the ladies are talking about each other behind their backs and no one is a true friend. Unfortunately, this is made clear multiple times during this episode! Jenn and Tamra get into it the most on their last days in London, and Tamra continues to try and throw Shannon under the bus. We have to admit that we were pretty pleased with Heather calling Shannon out for controlling her narrative and being manipulative. Finally, someone says what we’ve been saying all season! Next week, we’ll discuss the finale and prep for the reunion.

This week on Emotional Support Water Bottle, Hannah and Ailish give their take on the possibility of the Menendez brothers getting resentenced. As you listen to this episode, there will probably be updated information and, who knows, the brothers could be getting ready to walk free after serving nearly 35 years. Hannah recently watched Don’t Worry Darling which lead to a discussion about the drama that surrounded the movie, the possibility of Shia LaBeouf starring instead of Harry Styles, and Olivia Wilde’s skills as a director. Ailish has been listening to the Witnessed podcast which got us thinking about popular conspiracy theories in light of all the Diddy allegations. Didn’t that start as a conspiracy too?
In RHOC, the ladies are still in London. This episode was filled with gossip and petty drama which can get annoying when it’s drug out for too long. (Ahem. Talking to you, Gina) Everyone is just talking about everyone at this point which caused Shannon to dig up some two-year-old text messages to really stir the pot between Jenn and Tamra. We had to hand it to Jenn, she finally found her voice! Unfortunately, we can’t help but wonder for how long.
Our Book Club will be pushed back a bit this month. If you’re planning on reading along with us, we’re reading Men Have Called Her Crazy by Anna Marie Tendler. Hannah and Ailish mourn Liam Payne this week as the shocking news of his passing breaks. It’s difficult to comprehend the accident and to think the first member of the iconic boy band, One Direction, is no longer with us. To switch gears, we also recap the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which made a comeback after a hiatus. The vibe is definitely different, but that’s not a bad thing! We loved the show overall and loved all the surprise angels on the runway. Hannah has been watching the Alien movies as Halloween approaches, so she gives her thoughts so far, and Ailish talks about her recent road trip that took longer than expected.
In Bravo news, Tamra Judge announced on her podcast that she believes she’s on the spectrum after one appointment with a therapist. Is she using this “diagnosis” as an excuse for her bad behavior? In recapping last week’s episode, we move farther and farther away from Camp Shannon’s the Victim. Things just aren’t adding up and every time she’s confronted by an inconsistency or flat out lie, she runs away. At least they're all in London which has to make her behavior a little more tolerable.

Hannah and Ailish are back with another episode of Emotional Support Water Bottle! This week, Ailish gives her opinions on Ryan Murphy’s newest projects: Grotesquerie and Monsters. As we discussed before, we feel weird about shows that depict people’s lives when they’re still alive, and the story of the Menendez Brothers has an extra layer of ick to it. Ryan Murphy seems to be blind to the fact that he is exploiting them instead of helping, especially when he adds he fetishized twists to their story. We’re also still talking about The Substance and the fact that Demi Moore (and Hollywood in general) refuses to admit the work they’ve gotten done. Hannah also shares her thoughts on The Butcher and the Wren and a recent wedding she went to that had TikTok undertones.
We also recap the last two episodes of RHOC since we skipped last week due to Book Club. Things are really heating up with Shannon and the ladies as they prepare for their London trip without Alexis!

In this week’s episode of Emotional Support Water Bottle, Hannah and Ailish review Rebel Wilson’s book, Rebel Rising. We did have some slightly differing opinions, but for the most part, we both enjoyed this book and learned quite a bit about Rebel’s career and life. She really put a lot into this book! So much so, that we actually had to leave a ton of funny, interesting, and sad stories out because there was so much to take in. Of course, we talk about the infamous SBC chapter and how the industry felt different for her after she lost weight. Listen to the full episode to hear all our thoughts!
Ailish was able to see The Substance this week, so we were finally able to fully dissect the movie. For those of you who haven’t seen it, skip ahead when we talk about it and go see that movie in theaters! It’s definitely an experience that you need to have there before you watch it from home. We both agree that Demi Moore and Maragret Qually give unbelievable performances, and we discuss the complexities of the film itself. We also went to the Ohio Renaissance Festival last weekend which was another new experience for us.

This week on Emotional Support Water Bottle, Hannah and Ailish talk about so many movies you’ll think we talk about them for a living. Hannah gushes about Demi Moore’s new film, The Substance, and makes plans with Ailish to see it again in theaters. Ailish recently watched Dark Waters which had her thinking about all the hidden truths that haven’t been exposed yet. This is really timely considering everything being uncovered regarding Diddy, and we discuss other conspiracy theories that seemed impossible at the time but later were proven to be true. We also bring up the major rebrand of the upcoming movie My Old Ass with Aubrey Plaza, and how we could reignite excitement for the film industry.
In Bravo news, RHOSLC started with a bang. It’s a little awkward since the ladies don’t really want to talk about Monica too much, and we think they should have given the cast a season to settle before adding new members. Over at RHOC, Emily’s mean girl side has been unleashed. We found it really disappointing to watch this episode even though we can sympathize with Emily feeling self conscious about the fashion show. Otherwise, the episode was the biggest flop of the season.
Next week will be our Book Club episode! If you’re finishing up Rebel Rising by Rebel Wilson, get ready for a discussion next Friday. We’re always looking for suggestions on new books to read, so leave those for us in the comments or reviews as well. If you love us, leave us comments on social media and YouTube, or write a review with your 5-star rating. If you write us a nice review, DM us and we’ll send you some of our new stickers! On the podcast this week, Hannah and Ailish talk about the Emmys and the big winners of the night. We also both watched the new Netflix movie, Uglies, with Joey King and Chase Stokes. The movie was about what you would expect, and we wonder if some actors have contracts with Netflix or if they’re just easy to work with and can’t resist the paycheck. This leads us into a conversation about Letterboxd culture and how some reviews feel more like the TikTok comment section.
The feud between Shannon and Alexis continues on RHOC. We may be on the wrong side of history here, but we can’t help but feel like Alexis was making some good points when she was talking to Emily. Again, we end up feeling like the victim edit that Shannon is getting really overshadows some serious behavior from her that is going unaddressed. The rest of this episode is devoted to the Katie/Heather/Gina drama that no one really cares about at this point.

Hannah and Ailish give their live reactions to red carpet looks from the VMAs. The VMAs have always been iconic, and we’re pleasantly surprised by most of the fashion. We do a pretty good job of describing the looks, but it might help to reference a photo slideshow as well! Ailish watched The Perfect Couple this week and didn’t have a lot of positive things to say. There was quite a bit of hype around the release of this show, but it seemed to fully rely on its big-name stars like Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, and Dakota Fanning. Netflix and Apple TV just can’t stop throwing big money into their original content! We also discuss the DWTS cast announcement, Lala’s baby name reveal, and the Nick Avocado drama to round out our timely topics for the week.
When it comes to RHOC, we really struggled with sharing our feelings. The way Tamra, Alexis, and John are treating Shannon is wrong, but it feels like that is overshadowing the severity of Shannon’s decisions. Listen to this episode and let us know if you agree with our viewpoint. Despite that, we’ve been enjoying this season for far and look forward to seeing what the rest of the season has to offer!

This week, Hannah and Ailish watched Kinds of Kindness by Yorgos Lanthimos. We decided we just aren’t the target audience, but then wondered, “who is?” Is this the kind of edgy and boundary-pushing film that only true cinephiles can appreciate, or is Yorgos playing a joke on all of us? We also discuss Simone Biles since Hannah recently read her book, and the recent Bachelorette finale drama.
We recapped the last two episodes of RHOC since we skipped last week, but we were both pretty disappointed by an episode devoted pretty much entirely to another reality show. The Traitors theme mixed with Teddi Mellencamp and the clear bias toward Jenn just left us feeling underwhelmed. Give that poor girl (no pun intended) a break already!

Hannah and Ailish are back with their Book Club! We’ve been teasing our review of Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions by Ed Zwick for a while now, but the conversation was worth the wait. For those who don’t know (like us before we read this), Ed Zwick is an accomplished, true filmmaker who has worked on films such as Legends of the Fall, Blood Diamond, and Love & Other Drugs. If you have any interest in the film industry, this book is definitely for you since it gives you an inside look into how movies are made, what it’s like working with difficult actors, and details some interesting on-set stories. We’re getting back in the swing of monthly book club episodes, so be sure to let us know what you think we should read next!
We also do our usual pop culture recap since so much has happened in the Bravo Universe this week. Brittany Cartwright filed for divorce from Jax Taylor, The Valley is filming with Scheana and Lala, and Tom Girardi was found guilty for embezzlement and wire fraud. We also had two Gossip Girl weddings, a Bieber baby, and an album drop from Sabrina Carpenter! Since we covered a lot this episode, we’ll be doing a double RHOC recap next week.

Hannah and Ailish give their updated thoughts on the It Ends With Us drama after last week’s movie review, and the sudden and aggressive takedown of Blake Lively. Ben Afleck and Jennifer Lopez officially announced their divorce this week, and we also discuss prenups and if two big-name stars in a relationship can actually go the distance. Ailish brings up a few movies she watched recently, and Hannah wonders if Chappell Roan spoke out against fan interaction in the right manner. We also dig into last week’s episode of RHOC where Gina is in conflict with half the cast, and Tamra continues to tear down Shannon when she’s at her lowest.
Next week, we’ll discuss Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions by Ed Zwick. Be sure to finish up the book before we review it! Hannah and Ailish come to you from a parking lot after watching It Ends With Us! This movie has been highly anticipated, and the recent alleged drama behind the scenes has added to the buzz. We discuss our thoughts on the movie as a whole, rumors we’ve heard about the cast, and what we think is in store for the next installment. Ailish also watched the finale episode of RHONJ, and Hannah and Ailish discuss why the end of this season feels more final than the ending of Vanderpump Rules in the eyes of Bravo.
We’ll be discussing Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions by Ed Zwick soon. Be sure to finish up the book before we review it mid-August! This week, Hannah and Ailish try to figure out all the drama with It Ends With Us leading up to its release, and make plans to see the movie over the weekend. Britney Spears announced that a movie is in the works based on her book, and we also discuss potential casting decisions and how Blake Lively threw her hat in the ring to play Britney. We also recap the last two episodes of RHOC which were both randomly centered around sports. Katie thinks she has a hole in one when it comes to her evidence about Heather, but we think her need for conflict sent her over par.

Our new stickers are in! Check out our Instagram to see our offerings and if you leave us a nice review, we’ll send you some! After you leave your review, send us a dm with your info and we’ll mail them right away. Hannah went to see Twisters and gives her review of the movie and Glen Powell. Ailish finished season 3 of The Bear and was blown away by the performance by Jamie Lee Curtis which leads us into a conversation about Freaky Friday 2 which is currently filming. We also discuss Hailey Bieber’s recent interview with W Magazine, MGK and Megan Fox, the Katy Perry hate, and the upcoming Olympics.
Remember, we’re a week behind in discussing RHOC since we record on Wednesdays, so we talk episode 2 here. We seem to be in the minority who are supportive of Jenn in the Gina/Jenn feud. While we do agree that getting full glam all the time for filming isn’t the greatest look when you’re in financial difficulties, we think Gina’s explosion at the coffee shop was out of line. We also give our take on newcomer Katie, and talk about Jenn’s appearance on WWHL.

After planning to see Maxxxine over the weekend, we’re pleased to announce that we did and we’re sharing our thoughts! Hannah also read Crystal Hefner’s book which brought up some interesting conversation and conflicting feelings. You may have noticed we also have the long-anticipated cover art that we’ve been talking about for a few months updated on all platforms. Be sure to let us know what you think!
In the Bravoverse, Jenn Pedranti was awarded much-needed financial support from her ex-husband, and the news broke on Wednesday that Tom Sandoval was suing Ariana in relation to invasion of privacy. Since then, he has redacted his suit, but we discuss our initial thoughts in this episode. As you know, our discussions surrounding RHOC will always be a week behind since we record on Wednesdays, so this week, we talk about Episode 1 of Season 18.

We’re back after a long 4th of July weekend, and the fireworks are still going off and terrorizing the dogs. This week, we catch up on pop culture news, movies we’ve seen recently, and our weekend plans. Ailish watched Pearl and X, so we discuss the movies more in detail as we prepare to see Maxxxine over the weekend. Hannah also offers her review on Bodies, Bodies, Bodies (spoilers if you haven’t watched!) and Inside Out 2, and gives an update on her LetterBoxd page. We also talk about how we feel like a different version of ourselves when we’re around certain groups of people and how that makes us reevaluate who we spend time with.
We’re looking forward to RHOC starting this week, but aren’t sure if we’ll be doing a weekly recap yet. Since we felt a little burnt out after last season (and with Bravo in general), we’ll see how the season goes. We’re interested in the dynamics of this season, but worry about Tamra being Tamra.
We’re also bringing back our Book Club! For the month of July, join us in reading Hits, Flops, and Other Illusions by Ed Zwick. Let us know what you’d like to hear from us in future episodes by leaving comments on social media and YouTube, or writing a review with your 5-star rating. Don’t forget to follow our socials, leave some feedback and a rating, and give us a follow on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts. We’d love to interact with all of you more! So grab your water bottles, and look out for new episodes every Friday!

It’s 4th of July weekend and the fireworks are taking their toll on the dogs. Last week, we had a Zombie story and this week, you’ll see poor Winnie shaking like a leaf when the weekend hadn’t even started yet. In this episode, we discuss Ailish’s weekend in Cincinnati, Hannah’s 4th of July plans, and ideas for updating our podcast cover that we still haven’t gotten around to. After British Vogue released their interview with Suki Waterhouse, we’ve fallen in love with one of our generation’s It Girl yet again. We love how open and honest she was in this interview and it leads us to a discussion about Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, Shia LaBeouf, and the fate of the movie industry.

We’re back and have so much to catch up on! A lot has happened in pop culture while we’ve been on our vacations, and we’re ready to share all our thoughts. We start this episode by recapping our vacations and Hannah shares the struggles of long car rides with young children. This is something all parents can relate to, so if you have any tips, be sure to share them in the comments! As far as pop culture goes, we discuss Justin Timberlake’s DUI, Brooke Schofield’s TikTok storytime, and rumors about Nick Viall’s marriage. Ailish also started watching RHONJ and we discuss the future of that franchise. We also compare the shooting schedule of Love Island UK to that of VPR, Housewives, and the Kardashians, and how a faster turn around might be what these shows need to keep their audience engaged.
Be sure to tune in next week where we reveal the book we’ll be reading for July’s Book Club so you can read along with us!
