Joining Bridge this episode is one of the most prolific names in Australian politics, Georgie Purcell from the Animal Justice Party! On the cusp of turning 32, Georgie is the youngest woman in Victorian Parliament and undoubtedly one of the most authentic and refreshing figures we have seen in Australian politics, ever. In this candid conversation, Georgie opens up about her rise in politics as well as her personal life, sharing relationship details that she's never publicly revealed before. She also discusses her experience with two abortions and her journey in reconciling maternal desires, the significance of expressing herself through fashion in parliament, and how she navigates the challenge of separating her private life from such a scrutinized profession. This chat is definitely one for the books!

You’ll hear touching reflections from two of Bridget’s mates, Rochelle Flack and Henry Wagons, who both recently lost their beloved Keasha and Peeps. Plus, expert insight courtesy of Candice Mace from Griefline.

Retiring at the age of 29 may seem uncommon in most professions, right? Well, it's a reality many AFL players face and in this episode, Jack Watts shares what it was like to exit the footy world as he entered his 30’s. Jack was the number one draft pick in 2008 and played for Melbourne (alongside Bridget’s partner Oscar) and Port Adelaide. This is a super insightful, candid look into how the pressures of professional sport have influenced Wattsy’s relationship with footy and the lessons he’s taking into this next chapter of life.
You can hear more of Jack on The Overly Excited Podcast. Plus, check out his swimwear label, Skwosh Club.

When Barbie asked "“Do you guys ever think about dying?”, she had a point! Have you done your will? Apparently this is something we should start preparing as soon as we turn 18 but Australians under the age of 35 are the least likely to have an estate plane in place. So we gotta change that! Today's episode is basically like a crash course in preparing a will with Aaron Zelman, co-founder of Willed. Find out some surprising things you can include in your will, how to make it legally binding, what happens when somebody passes without a will and heaps more!
Thanks so much to Willed for sponsoring this episode - check out their website HERE and write a Will online in as little as 15 minutes. PLUS, use discount code FIGURINGOUT20 for 20% off!

Bridge is baaaaack and sitting down with Sean Szeps ahead of Fathers Day for a candid chat about life in his thirties and life as a queer dad in Australia! If you're not across Sean, he's a podcaster, content creator AND the author of "Not Like Other Dads". It's an incredible memoir on how Sean navigates the heterosexual parenting world, documenting first-hand what happens when the parenting script - 300,000 years in the making -simply doesn’t apply.
