Hot off the back of a super, grown up and mature birthday party for my youngest, where both parents AND our new partners were present, co-parenting has been very much on my mind, so for what it's worth, here are my thoughts on the matter!
I talk about why I don't like the term narcissist.
And share my boundaries that helped me keep communication alive during a high conflict divorce and why it was so important to me.
I also share the exact words I was using every morning to manifest the best outcome of the divorce for my children. It kept me focused during the court battles on what was important and helped me keep check of my motivations for everything (i.e. for them and not for spite!).
you can read all my boundaries and survival tools for divorce in my new book How to Divorce Sober, available in audio, ebook and print here. If you'd like a signed copy, head here!

Katie and I are talking about the fact we bought our own houses for the first time after our relationship break ups. We talk about the positives and negatives of this huge, grown up step and share our 3 essential tips for doing it successfully - 1 of which is very unlike me!!
Show notes...
I refer to a Brene Brown book which I completely forgot the name of... it was DARING GREATLY. Lol, as if I forgot.
We also discuss moon cups at great length and would love your feedback on how you get on with them and any suggestions for Katie!
The house discussion starts around 14 mins in as we have a lot to catch up :)

On this week's episode of Happily Ever After, I'm joined by my business coach to talk about MONEY and how we are once again sabotaging ourselves from receiving more of it.
Rachel talks about money as a spirit who wants to be with us and wants to flow through our lives. Love that! She explains the mindset shifts we can do (in a gentle and pragmatic way), that will really start to rewire the brain ready to spot opportunities and bring in more abundance.
She also talks about the importance of understanding our shadows and how in fully embracing who we are, money (and the people who want to buy from us) love authenticity.
We talk about:
AOA - Art of Alchemy by Kat Rivers (all about motherhood and business and a course I did over the summer which I LOVED!)
Money Magic - Rachel's course on changing your money mindset - come and join me, I'm doing it too!
Human Design - this is a great intro place to start and if you want to go deeper head here << both are free to access your results (and then tell me, I'd love to know what you are!).

Rachel Smithbone is back on the podcast!
Rachel was on last August for episode 60 - trusting yourself and I highly recommend circling back to get the full flavour of how Rachel works as a shamanic business coach.
I absolutely loved that chat and have since started working with Rachel as my coach, so in this conversation, we talk about some of the things my body has helped me understand in our sessions.
From who and what the 'maiden' (first introduced in episode 46 - grieving the maiden) needs from me in order to show up in the world to conversations with a knot in my neck... this is work has been transformational for me!
You can find Rachel on instagram here.

If you have ever been in any kind of chaotic relationship, you will know that it is very easy to follow the same pattern into subsequent relationships. Chaos can feel safe to the nervous system because it is familiar, even if it’s to the detriment of your well being. A very common complaint is looking for trouble because calm and happy love can feel so unsettling when you’re used to drama! You understand how to exist in drama. You don’t know how to exist in peace.
This week I’m talking to Amber about how exactly you stop this cycle and how to be in a healthy relationship - we both have experience of both drama in relationship AND a lot of healing work to break the cycle. But it doesn’t mean that it’s easy.
You can read Amber’s brand new book Unleashing my Inner Power: Daring to Dream and Flying fearless, which explores all of this - from her 2 year Sex Ban through to learning how to be in a peaceful relationship.

How to be Single... with Amber Horrox.
A year on from one of last years most downloaded episodes, 57 - Could a Sex Ban Change Your Life, I've caught up with Amber to talk about all the lessons I learnt from being single.
From protecting your boundaries to noticing addictive patterns. This is such a great chat and I love Amber's insights into each of my observations.
Full of uplifting nuggets for anyone struggling to be single or find love.

Hello and welcome to Happily ever after, it’s me Hannah and this week I'm joined by my lovely chum chum Katie and a room full of my nearest and dearest as I will be sharing the live Q&A that we held for my book launch, How to Divorce Sober, which is now out and you can get your copy here!
Before we get to that, let me say, welcome back to the new season of Happily Ever After! For the next 10 weeks, you can expect weekly podcasts with lots of lovely guests and the odd solo - talking about all our favourite juicy topics. From incredible visualisations that have changed everything for me to manifesting more money and settling into a calmer way of life. Over the next few weeks I have Amber Horrox (of Sex Ban fame) to Rachel Smtihbone (who is my shamanic business coach). On to my book! How to Divorce Sober was published on 18th September and we had a big party! It was absolutely gorgeous and overwhelming and I was so supported that it meant I could fully sit with the discomfort of celebrating something I’ve done (not always easy!) - but it is so important that we do this. It’s important to have our accomplishments witnessed, however, as my friend, Joanne, put it the next day - love hangover! Without further ado, here is the chat Katie and I had at my book launch last week. The book is out now and for the rest of this week until 5pm Friday 27th Sept, you can get the ebook for just 99p! Have a read and let me know what you think! -
I'm catching up with Katie for the first time in aaaages for this end of the season episode!
We talk about periods and cycles (Katie's celebrating having her coil out!) and Maisie Hill's excellent book, Period Power.
We also talk about manifesting love, one of my all time fave topics, and Katie completely blows my mind with what she experienced at the Fire Ceremony I held on the beach on the Summer Solstice!
Finally we talk about saying goodbye to Mums' Days, the blog I've had for 12 years (she's decided to teach me ALLLLL the lessons on the way out!).

Today I bring you the second part of my chat with my own therapist, Johnny Morton, from Blue Talking Therapies.
Johnny supported me through recovering from PTSD, anxiety and (I discovered in last week's episode which explains everything about these different conditions) depression symptoms after my relationship with my ex-husband broke down and throughout a rather traumatic divorce.
Johnny gives loads of advice about how to manage our emotions after the recovery has taken place - because while we can recover from the immediate issues of these conditions, the thing that caused it in the first place (trauma, negative thoughts of self, our believe systems) never go away.
He talks about compassion, balanced views, slowing down and other incredible techniques for coping with life after trauma and difficulties.
You can listen to last week's episode with Johnny here: 84 - Panic Attacks, PTSD and Trauma in Divorce with my Therapist, Johnny Morton

This week I'm talking to my very own therapist, Johnny Morton, from Blue Talking Therapies.
We talk about getting over the hurdle of starting therapy (I certainly found it terrifying) and why it is so important to talk about your secrets and anything you're ashamed of.
We also talk about PTSD, how you can get it from relationships, the difference between PTSD, depression and anxiety, and what you can do about each of them. So helpful and interesting in equal measures.
It's more or less a live therapy session where I ask him why CBT worked so well on me and discover what techniques he has used on me.
You can get in touch with Blue Talk Therapies here.
We also talk about The Compassionate Mind Workbook.

Ah, the illusive pursuit of happiness! Overwhelm, stress, time scarcity, and modern day life have such a huge impact on the way we feel. The treadmill can leave us feeling like a calm, peaceful, happy existence is just for the instagram squares, am I right?
Or is it?
If I told you it might just be possible to tip the balance from manic to happier with 6 simple steps*, would you be willing to give it a try? Great, come and have a listen :)
*only one of them includes an Inside Out reference! And yes I'm very exited for Inside Out 2 this month!!!

In part two of this chat with Penny Brereton, we talk about what happens after you're divorced. Once the dust has settled from the court battles to the divorce admin... what do you do next?
We cover a lot of ground around healing - including shedding the persona you have to create to protect yourself through the process - finding your purpose (including failing and having to move away from what you thought was your identity), and of course... dating!
To listen to the first part of this podcast, where we talk about surviving divorce and radical honesty
items discussed in the podcast:
‘The Writer’s Way’ by Julia Cameron
Pear Ring
Episode 60 - Trusting Yourself with Rachel Smithbone
The Compassionate Mind Workbook and Self-Compassion App
Penny's Book for Children and Teens: ‘Create your own happy’, and ‘Be happy, be you’

Today I am joined by Penny Brereton, a long time blogging friend whom I reconnected with during my divorce because she was having almost exactly the same kind of experience at almost exactly the same time. We were even doing many of the same healing techniques.
It's been a long time coming, but I'm thrilled to welcome Penny onto the podcast today, as she is ready to share her experience and how she supported her children through her divorce using radical honesty.
I loved this chat so much, we made it a two-parter! This episode is about surviving and healing from the divorce... next week's episode is about moving on and how to embrace the next chapter after divorce and heartbreak.
You can find Penny on instagram @pennymaybrereton and head here for more information on her children's mental health books "be happy be you" and "create your own happy"
