In this episode of Offbeat I interview Chiela Rosa, A dutch sex worker with ten years of experience in prostitution and pornography. She tells me what it's like to be raised in the Dutch care system surrounded by abuse and without any family contact. Chiela shares how sex work was the only career path open to her and how she embraced this lifestyle. Finally, she makes shocking allegations of abuse against one of the Europes most famous porn productions, Kim Holland. She alleges she was violently abused on set, plied with alcohol and manipulated by Rudolf Slackhorst and Elise Van Vlaanderen.

After the Southport stabbings many protests were planned around the UK. I went to the one in Hull organised by John Francis Gillings of the Hull Patriotic Protestors and United Hull. Gillings has links with far right groups Hull United and Patriot Alternative. I first saw the protest advertised by ActivePatriot aka Alan Leggett.
I went to see what it was all about and if it was really the far right event the media portrayed it as. It quickly descended into racist riots and this is what I learned from the people there.

An Offbeat viewer showed me footage that appears to show Pierre Woodman trying to score cocaine and talking about drugging women in his casting videos. Join me as I sit down with Shona River as she bravely shares her story of being trafficked into the American porn industry by LA Direct. Sadly, Shona's experience isn't unique. Many non-US citizen models, like her, are forced into this industry without proper permits and even coerced into illegal prostitution by their agents. This form of sex trafficking affects hundreds of victims, with every porn site profiting from their exploitation. It's time for change. By enforcing work visas for foreign models, the porn industry could put an end to this overnight. Let's spread awareness and work towards a safer environment for all models. Please share this video.

Arden Young joins me on LustCast to discuss her groundbreaking work, the "PornHub Tapes," an undercover exposé conducted by Sound Investigations into Aylo, the new parent company of PornHub.In 2020, PornHub faced a massive scandal, leading Visa & Mastercard to sever ties over concerns of illegal content such as revenge porn and sex trafficking. Since then, the company claims to have cleaned up its act, changed ownership, and introduced stricter policies. However, Arden's undercover work reveals a different story. She found that not only does illegal content continue to circulate on the site, but senior executives are aware of these issues and are still profiting from them. Her findings suggest that little has actually changed at PornHub.Our conversation dives deeper into this, exploring the broader implications for the porn industry and also touching on the ethical considerations of undercover journalism.
