Election 2020 is here and the countdown to our future has begun! But before we put any misplaced trust in the people trying to lead us, Politicon is recruiting our fellow Americans to see if they have what it takes!
Join our moderator Clay Aiken and the live audience on set and on the web as they grill an all partisan panel of the sharpest, funniest, and most innovative minds in politics, media, and comedy to see if they’re the ones we should have running things-- and what they think about the people who are.
There will be some brilliance, some BS, some name calling and even some bonding, as Politicon’s “How The Heck Are We Going To Get Along?” brings in all sides to find out if our country still has a fighting chance at making it to 2021...and if we’re lucky, even finding some common ground in the process. -

How do the Nordic nations consistently top international league tables?
Between Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland they are the world's best democracy, the best place to be a woman, the best educated people and the happiest. They regularly top UNICEF's child wellbeing index, lead on the Green Transition and have an enduring emphasis on equality that's the envy of the world.
Nordic Horizons is a Scottish-based group that's been interested in learning more from our nearest European neighbours since devolved government resumed 20+ years ago. We've invited experts over to speak in the Scottish Parliament on Norwegian outdoor kindergarten, Finnish prison reform, Swedish electoral systems, Iceland's crowd-sourced constitution and Copenhagen's claim to be the world's first eco metropolis. Since the pandemic, our events have gone online - but all were recorded and will now be available - updated and edited - via this podcast on a monthly basis. -

Welcome to Leading the Change — a podcast mini series brought to you by Fine Gael all about encouraging more women and people from diverse backgrounds to get involved in politics. Hosted by Maria Walsh, MEP for Midlands-North West, we will bring you discussions with Fine Gael politicians and activists about why they got involved in politics.
This is all part of Fine Gael's awareness campaign aimed at fostering greater diversity and inclusion in our party and in Irish politics. The campaign will contribute to empowering all people to see a role for themselves in politics and responds to Fine Gael's broader policy efforts to strengthen our commitment to gender-balanced and more diverse politics.
Fine Gael is committed to fostering greater diversity and inclusion in our party and in Irish politics. Our goal is to enable politics to become culturally rich and vibrant and in tune with the diversity of our society.
By portraying the commitment of our leaders and role models from across our organisation, the campaign aims to:
- Spotlight the different ways we can all participate in politics;
- Encourage women from all walks of life and experiences, migrants, people with disabilities, and others, to get involved by showing them that there is support and that they can succeed in these roles;
- Highlight the power and achievements of different people across our organisation with a focus on possibilities and opportunities rather than impediments.
If you would like to learn more about how you could lead the change and discover how you could get involved in politics, visit finegael.ie/getinvolved. There you will find insights from some of our representatives about why they got involved plus lots of useful information about how Fine Gael can support you. -

The Disorder podcast teases out the key principles that connect seemingly disparate challenges: from Climate Change to Tax Havens, to Unregulated Cyberspace, to the Wars in Ukraine, Syria, and Libya. At the conclusion of each episode, they will be proposing inventive, win-win solutions to the globe’s most pressing challenges aka, ‘Ordering the Disorder’.
