In this episode youâll meet 10-year old best pals, Theodoro and Lorenzo. We recorded the podcast in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the boys hometown. Itâs the first Kids Talk Media episode recorded outside the US and with a translator, Theodoroâs Dad, Alex. It was interesting to hear the boys talk about favorites that are so similar to boys Iâve talked to in the US. They love Fortnite, GT8, and Scooby Doo, play with Legos and collect football (soccer) trading cards. And watch YouTube videos from their favorite video game players, like Mr. Beast. You donât need to understand Portuguese to understand their feelings about the animated character Peppa Pig! I hope you enjoy this episode.

One is curious about social media, but the other, not so much. And they have an interesting perspective on the difference between social media and 'search'. They are at the age when they feel the pull of digital media all the time, and are just developing the media literacy skills to navigate it all. Their drama and laughter is contagious! I hope you enjoy this episode.
