Parenting is hard on its own but a parenting a special need child is even harder EMOTIONALLY, FINANCIALLY, SOCIALLY (especially in our society where most people associate things with WITCHCRAFT it’s even harder, in a world where there are so many things we sometimes judge parents with special needs kids and thinking maybe they did something wrong BUT the only thing in this world you can ever do to anyone whom you don’t understand what they are going through especially with parenting is to be KIND and extend GRACE in parenting.
Cecylia Meshy is a mother of 3 and founder of PANETWORKTZ which deals with parents with Autistic children, to encourage each other, to remind each other that they are not alone, they didn’t do anything wrong to have a special need child. -
Most of us are parents, parents to be or even guardians, but we have never been bothered to take course, classes and even reading books about parenting since we believe that we can do it, we invest in our career, personal growth and maybe finances but we never even bothered to invest in parenting. This episode is a reminder to all of us as parents/ guardians to take a moment and reflect on our journey and maybe just maybe to do the necessary things to make this journey better. If it’s therapy you need, it’s a mentor/coach, a book or maybe a supportive group to help you become a better parent do that. Let’s raise the next generation to be better and not add another burden into their healing journey later in life.

We have been hearing about MOTHERHOOD for years, we never get a chance to listen to fathers and how they feel about FATHERHOOD OR PARENTHOOD in general, it’s time we get a chance to hear and under FATHERHOOD from their lenses in honor of Father’s Day, let’s not just celebrate them with gift and just thanking them, or maybe blame them without knowing how they feel about this hood, what are the challenges they are all going through to put a small on our lives, to help us achieving our goals and the family goals in general, but then let’s give them GRACE and the SUPPORT they need wether they speak it out loud or not. We have GAMARIEL MBOYA as a father of 4 who has been a parent for 14 good years, and FELIX MASSINDA a father of 3 and has been parenting for the last 8 years.
