Happy May, everyone! This month, we read You Could Be So Pretty, a stunning book by Holly Bourne. We chat about beauty standards and just how present they are in our life, a friends-to-romance ark we all saw coming and the choice we have to put effort in how we look. Or do we really have that? If you're curious on what we think, you should choose to listen to the episode.
This book has some pretty heavy topics, dealing with sexual abuse, harassment and eating disorders.
Next Book: The Perks of Being A Wallflower

Hi, everyone!
This month, we were lucky enough to read an early copy of The Lost Kingdom by Laurel Black! Hi everyone, and welcome back to the podcast!
In our first episode of 2024, we talk about The Afterlife of Holly Chase, a christmassy re- telling of a classic. We forget a lot of plot points, but we do clarify the meaning of 'mousy' hair.
We have some very exiting news, so make sure to listen until the end!

Hello, our Good listeners! This month we did the most Evil thing of all- read this novel. Join us as we make our way through this brick of a book, trying to sort through story lines, and failing to find any substance to characters. How many times can Zoe call a chapter nonsense before that word loses its meaning? Can Ammu correctly guess what crazy turn this series takes? Listen to find out!
Next month, we are reading The Afterlife of Holly Chase, a book Zoe actually likes!

Hello, everyone! Surprise! One year ago, we sat down with two headphone- microphones and and a dream, and now were here to celebrate that! We talk about how we started this, and then we play a game of 'Smash- and Pass' - but with book tropes! What are our favorite things to read about? What makes us throw a book across the room? Whats the trope that annoys Zoe irrationally? And what affect would marrying a thriller book would have on your life? In this special celebration episode, we answer the questions you never thought abut asking.

Hi everyone! For the last book of the summer, we read Begin Again by Emma Lord, an adorable book about a girl unable to live up to a legacy, a boy who drinks disgusting coffee, and the slowest burn that ever blazed in literature! Featuring a confused roommate, a math major who's secretly a writer, a ribbon system none of us could understand, a breakup song that annoyed Zoe more then it should've, and bagels. Enjoy!
*For legal reasons, we couldn't play the song 'Begin Again' in the episode, but we recommend you listen to it to understand the connection to the book*
Our next book: The Hunger Games!

We didn't either, but it was a delight to find out. Listen as we debate whether the new series is a needed, is Snape a danger to all Hogwarts students, can wizards be home-schooled and the reasons why we couldn't break into the Ministry of Magic.

Hello, and welcome to the second part of our Harry Potter series! This month, we discuss moments in the films that really bother us, we do a round of Would You Rather and Impressions. If you always thought Umbridge was more evil than Voldemort, that even the Dursleys are better then the Malfoys, Time Turners are not worth it and Ron with a broken wand is not a good idea, you will like this episode.
The next (and last) episode of the Harry Potter series will be out in May.
We have a lot of episodes this month, make sure to stay tuned! Our next book is What Happened To Rachel Riley by Claire Swinarski.
