Now, Luca Guadagnino's latest is finally coming to theaters this weekend, starring Zendaya, Josh O'Connor, and Mike Faist. "The People's Joker" had its world premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival, but its screenings were canceled due to "rights issues" related to its D.C. characters. A French, Canadian production with multiple time periods loosely based on Henry James's 1903 novella "The Beast in the Jungle," the deeply philosophical film stars Léa Seydoux, George MacKay, Guslagie Malanda & Dasha Nekrasova.
