Munro Hardy will undertake a 2022 Nuffield Scholarship to explore how producers can leverage their data more effectively throughout the northern beef industry.

Martina has played a key role in driving innovation in the industry and encouraging future generations to consider working on farms. She formerly managed Acacia Hills Farm and has been working in the mango industry for over 20 years. In 2016 Martina won the RIRDC Rural Woman of the year award. Martina is a former board member of NT Farmers and is now a freelance technology consultant in horticultural production.

A teacher and agronomist, Simone, is a passionate advocate for agriculture in the Territory and is committed to promoting research and extension in the sector. She owns and operates a 1200 acre property just outside Katherine and has been with the NT Farmers Association since 2019. Paul McLaughlin grows watermelons and peanuts near Ali Curung, south of Tennant Creek. He has extensive experience in developing irrigation properties and growing a range of crops from cotton to horticulture. Nick has been involved in the agricultural sector his entire life. He owned and operated Northern Hedging and Contracting for 16 years and is actively involved in the mango and forestry industries. He recently established NT Broadacre to service the growing broadacre cropping industry. Nick also owns a mango farm with 7200 honey gold mango trees. Frank has over 20 years experience in the forestry industry. He has managed the largest African Mahogany estate in the world, located outside Katherine, and now works as a consultant in Forestry and Agriculture investment. In 2018 he was awarded a Nuffield scholarship to study silvopastoralism and is applying his findings to forestry in the Territory. Frank is a founding member and president of the Forestry Industry Association of the NT. Frank is currently a director on the board of NT Farmers Association. Paul Burke has extensive experience in the agricultural sector, working in government and non government roles advocating and supporting the agricultural sector.
