All over the world this Friday, Christians and Catholics will be observing Good Friday. The Catholic church teaches that Jesus went to the cross on a Friday and rose from the grave on a Sunday morning. It sounds right, and mostly everyone across the board accepts those days and that chronology. Only one problem. It’s completely wrong according to the biblical account of what happened. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we show you first the very Roman Catholic teaching that Jesus was crucified on 'Good Friday', and then show you what your King James Bible has to say about the matter. SPOILER ALERT!!! Jesus went to the cross on a Wednesday. The Catholic teaching counts Friday as one day, Saturday as the second day and Sunday as the third day. 3 days. Only it’s not 3 days, it’s barely a day and a half according to the Jewish calendar. Jesus did not rise on Sunday morning, the bible says that He already “was risen” by the time Sunday morning rolled around. In all the gospel accounts, Jesus is already risen on Sunday morning. There is no account of His rising at that time, it has already happened. So if the Roman Catholic timeline is followed, you would have at the most 30 hours of elapsed time. Not even close enough to the “3 days and 3 nights” that Jesus Himself said would transpire. French President Emmanuel Macron called President Vladimir Putin’s Russia an adversary that would not stop in Ukraine if it defeated Kyiv’s troops in the two-year-old conflict, urging Europeans to not be “weak” and to get ready to respond. “If Russia wins this war, Europe’s credibility will be reduced to zero,” Macron said in a television interview mostly directed at a domestic audience after French opposition leaders criticized his comments as bellicose. Happening right now, Exercise Steadfast Defender 24 is NATO’s largest military exercise in decades, is it preparation for WWIII? Your King James Bible is quite clear, there are only two times that the LORD regathers Israel. The first regathering took place after the 70 years the Jews spent in captivity in Babylon, that was the first one. Last week on our Bible study, we looked at how the red heifers might be connected to the coming Third Temple in Jerusalem. Tonight we journey all the way back to the beginning when the Temple Mount was the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. The circumstances under which King David acquired this land are mind-blowing to say they least, and will make up the bulk of our Bible study time tonight. Over 4,000 years ago, the LORD worked things out to have a Jewish king, David, purchase the threshing floor of Ornan, who himself was a king and also named Araunah, for 600 shekels of gold. French President Emmanuel Macron surprised fellow European leaders this week with his suggestion that some European countries might send troops to Ukraine to prevent Russia from winning its war of aggression there. Taken at face value, Macron’s remarks—made at a newly created European Union-Ukraine summit in Paris—put him immediately at the more forward-leaning end of the spectrum of Western leaders. On our Podcast yesterday, we played a clip from CBS News talking about how Hamas views the red heifers now in Israel as a threat, and in fact was one of the reasons behind the October 7th attack on the Jews back in 2023. What does the Bible have to say about the red heifers in our day, and about the coming time of Jacob’s trouble? As it turns out, a lot. On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we live in a time where the events of the last days continue to unfold before our very eyes. Israel and the Jews have an unalterable ‘date with destiny’ known as the time of Jacob’s trouble. It is in this time period that things like the red heifers, a rebuilt temple and all the things connected with it will come to pass. The Church, of course, having been removed in an event called the Pretribulation Rapture, will view these things ‘from the balcony’. On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse, known as the ‘Great North American Eclipse,’ will trace a narrow path of totality across 13 U.S. states. It will be a mirror image of the last solar eclipse that took place in 2017, and will form a near-perfect ‘X’ across the heart of America. Is this just a natural event taking place, or is it a sign of something much larger and more ominous? That’s the question everyone is attempting to answer, and we’ll take a shot at it as well. On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, we live in strange times, and they keep getting stranger by the minute. Ordinarily I would not pay much attention to something like this, but seeing as it’s Day 1.449 of 15 Days To Flatten The Curve, perhaps we would do well to investigate. The first thing you need to understand from a biblical perspective is that we are still in the Church Age, we are not looking for signs, we walk by faith and not by sight as Paul tells us. That said, our dispensation is rapidly closing and the one coming in will absolutely be looking for signs, miracles and wonders that the Antichrist will be happy to provide for them. Here’s a fun fact, numerically the date of 04.08.24 add up to…you guessed it…18, and 18 is made up of 6+6+6. What does that actually mean in the overall scheme of things?
