Suzana Matalqah is a clinical audiologist working as a manager in an audiology and speech pathology clinic in Jordan. She graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology. She went on to get a master's degree in audiology from the University of Manchester, where she learned and observed the various ways audiologists handle their patients in the UK and compared and contrasted both countries. Dr. Jaime Wilson understands first hand what happens to the brain as we age! Dr. Wilson is a prescribing medical psychologist and board-certified neuropsychologist in private practices both inside and outside Washington State. He holds privileges at several area hospitals and has worked extensively with physicians, other healthcare providers and forensic experts, providing neuropsychological evaluations across the U.S. The field of neuropsychology is dedicated to learning about and diagnosing conditions related to the brain and nervous system.
As a Past President of the Association of Medical Professionals with Hearing Losses, Dr. Wilson also serves on the Diversity Council for the Society of Prescribing Psychology and as Chair of the Diversity Committee for the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. Dr. Wilson has also published a book on the what, how and why of dementia and the hearing loss tie-in.
In Preserving the Etchings of the Mind, Dr. Wilson discusses how we can protect ourselves against the disease of dementia while maximizing the quality of our lives during the Golden Years. Dr. Norm Dawson is a professional speaker on the subject of dementia prevention. Hearing loss is one of the biggest modifiable risk factors for dementia. Dr. Dawson talks about how to identify and reduce the risks of dementia. He has been hearing impaired most of his life yet was able to challenge the barriers of that disability. After a long decline in his hearing from age 5 to age 27, he attended public schools. At age 27 he learned sign language and completed three college degrees, including his doctor of Chiropractic degree.
He has been a lifelong student of personal growth and development including Landmark Forum and Dale Carnegie to name a few. Toastmasters International is where he learned many of his speaking, leading and organizational skills. He has been involved in many civic endeavors and has been called out as a leader.

Dr. Cellino is currently the Executive Director of Columbus Speech and Hearing Center. Before joining the Columbus Speech & Hearing Center team, she completed externships with the United States Army at Ft. Benning and at the Pediatric ear, Nose, and Throat of Atlanta. In 2006 at Auburn University, she helped pioneer a way to obtain normative data on oto-acoustic emissions in puppies. The findings were then published by the American Academy of Veterinary Research.
She is trained and certified in Vestibular Evaluation and Treatment. Dr. Cellino is also a pediatric diagnostic specialist and Director of Audiology for The Medical Center NICU. Dr. Cellino is a clinical supervisor for Auburn University Doctoral students as well as past president of the Georgia Academy of Audiology and often lectures at the request of various organizations, such as retirement homes or parent groups. She has also held certification in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association for the Clinical Practice of Audiology since 2008.

Richard Kaner is the co-founder of Brooklyn Audiology Associates which he grew to the largest private practice in Brooklyn! He is also the co-author of the book, Break Free of Hearing Loss!
Following Mr. Kaner’s clinical studies in audiology, he completed a master's level original research project in “Sound Quality Measures of Different Transducer Types” and ultimately completed a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders. He has since pursued a career in private practice audiology and hearing loss treatment. He felt this was the best and most effective way to educate patients and their families about the effects of not treating hearing loss as well as the resulting impact on the brain.
Over the past four decades, Mr. Kaner has treated nearly 100,000 patients with hearing loss. He stays motivated by the millions more with untreated hearing loss who are not attaining the quality of life they are capable of. His ultimate goal is to change the stigma associated with hearing loss, and by doing so, to increase the cognitive function of people as they age.

Dr. Dowd has been an audiologist for 44 years working in ENT clinic settings, school systems, state education agencies, nursing homes and private practice clinics. Her experience ranges from hearing and balance assessments, auditory processing assessments, IEP and school expertise for children with hearing loss. In 2011
Dr. Dowd reached out to the Centers for Disease Control regarding hearing loss and balance associated with diabetes. After 10 years, CDC now has guidelines for audiology inclusion in diabetes care. Dr. Dowd is currently working with CMS Division of Nursing Homes to raise awareness of the critical need for hearing assessments in advance of cognitive and mental health assessments for better resident care and quality of life. CMS is aware of the need for better assessments for hearing in this setting.
