In December 1991, Patricia Doherty left her home in Tallaght to go Christmas shopping—she was never seen alive again. Her body was discovered months later in the Wicklow Mountains, yet her killer was never identified. Patricia’s case remains unsolved, but it bears unsettling similarities to other disappearances linked to Ireland’s infamous Vanishing Triangle; like Antoinette Smith and Marie Killmartin. Were these crimes connected, or should we merely neglect to acknowledge their similarities? This week on Red Room, we will discuss Patricia's disappearance.

In honour of Robert Egger's long-awaited Nosferatu, I wanted to release this episode initially published back in October for Spooky Month, on Patreon. While there are hundreds of examples of Vampire-like beings in folklore across Europe, the Americas and Aboriginal countries, this week we are going to look at instances where the cosplay was taken a little further...
We'll discuss ritualistic blood drinking from ancient civilisations, the Real Vampire community that sprung up in the goth scene of the 80s and some True Crime cases involving blood drinking.

The Dullahan is a sinister, headless rider from Irish folklore, who rides atop a black horse, carrying his severed head under one arm. With glowing eyes and a grin that stretches ear to ear, this figure carries omens of death, and is thought to be the inspiration behind the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow.
This week, we're taking a look at the mythical figure, and some of the local stories of his appearance.

This week we're discussing JZ' Knights' early life, and looking at how she went from the daughter of a cotton-picking single Mother to the leader of one of the whackiest New-Age cults ever.
