Simon finally reveals one of his secret projects as a Golang binary that will allow customers to bypass their firewalls and make it much easier to setup.
Cashflow is hard and Simon ran into an issue with it as freelancers shipped faster than expected eating into it quicker than planned.
Volkan has become a digital nomad in Turkey and is working slower than usual due to lack of 34inch screen, fast internet and proper work setup.
Volkan finished the backup solution for components and CMS items (blog posts), and had to cut scope to ship faster.
After feedback from customers that the UI can get a little confusing Volkan added a mini settings popup for important options.

Simon's rebuild of the proof of concept prototype for his secret project is successful, 14% to 95% data transfer efficiency compared to raw speeds.

Simon had to finish up work for ISO 27001 and Volkan had to update a bunch of npm packages.
Simon got a prototype complete quickly but realised that it won't work as it isn't fast enough.
Volkan added backups for components and CMS items that customers can restore instead of having to go to support.

Simon is continuing to update marketing site to increase conversions. Lots of maintenance work from security management, to marketing site and fixes for his SaaS.
Simon is also working on a new backup type for a secret project that is a very large market and may require a new go to market approach.
Volkan did some customer interviews and was able to learn the aha moment for designers using the platform (Classes). So he has decided to double down and build features around this. Also these learnings will be added to the marketing site.
For developers Volkan has added VS Code into the platform using Monaco.

Simon is reducing peak load of logging by adding rate limiting. He also upgraded to a higher Ahrefs plan to see daily rankings so he can fix his SEO faster. Twitter ads unperformed so Simon has swapped from impressions to click optimised.
Volkan had some great feedback about the rebuilt add elements from new and existing customers. To increase conversion rates he is redoing some of the onboarding to expose more features early on.

Due to the way Stripe handles currency on account creating Simon has had issues with sign ups.
Simon also sold an engineering as marketing project for a small amount as it wasn't a SaaS.
Volkan has still been working on UX and polish for Versoly. Of course he looked into building a huge new feature, but decided against it for now.

Simon is spending a lot of his time on the marketing site. The recent upgrade to the marketing site has lowered SnapShooters rankings so Simon is using tools like ahrefs to figure it out with his content editor.
Volkan spent a few days prototyping a big feature but decided it was better to focus time elsewhere.
Volkan is also having some success with Twitter and finding potential power users to push Versoly closer to product market fit.
Simon also goes viral in the middle of the podcast on Hackers News for his Digital Ocean location blog post.

After the changes Simon made to SnapShooters marketing website, Google has decided to mess around with rankings off certain pages.
Volkan finished pricing without help from Stripe beta (but is hopefully he can delete code later). Also he ton of feedback from a hardcore Webflow user.

Simon has hired an editor for content, created a new backup type for Sanity and did some tidying up on the marketing site.
Volkan tried to create an engineering as marketing tool but stopped as it wasn't going to work. Also he is trying to improve conversion rates by showcasing what Versoly can do inside the web app.

Volkan has moved from microservices to a monorepo that has made life much easier. He is on the look out for Tailwind developers who want to offer productised services for Versoly.
