Bryce is the founder of The Strength Athlete and is a world-class elite-level powerlifter in the IPF.
Bryce competes in the -105 kg class, winning USAPL Raw Nationals in both 2016 and 2017, as well as winning silver at the IPF World Championships in Minsk in 2017.
Through his success as an elite lifter, Bryce’s dream is to pass on his knowledge and skills through The Strength Athlete (TSA) powerlifting coaching services online. Bryce passionately advocates for the application and love of the sciences, evidence-based philosophies, and skepticism of pseudoscience.
Off the back of his 2017 Raw Nationals win with a 890 kg total (315/220/355), Bryce will again represent the USA at IPF Worlds this year in Calgary, Canada.

In addition to being a highly-regarded coach, he is also an accomplished competitor as both a USBF Pro Qualified Natural Bodybuilder and an internationally qualified IPF powerlifter.

Avi Silverberg is a 3-time World Team athlete, bronze medalist at the 2010 World Bench Press Championships, two-time Overall National Bench Press Champion, National Bench Press Record Holder, and member of the Canadian Powerlifting Union Hall of Fame.
Avi's coaching resume includes being named three times as the Head Coach for Team Canada Powerlifting; coaching the 2012 World Bench Press Team, 2013 World Junior/Sub-Junior Team, and 2014 Classic World Team. All teams combined produced 34 podium finishes. Avi has also coached seven National Champions, achieving a total of 17 National records.
In addition to Avi’s coaching resume, he is also an accomplished lifter. Avi is a 3-time World Team athlete, winning a bronze medal at the 2010 World Bench Press Championships, and boasting a career best bench press of 300k/661lbs.
Avi puts a strong emphasis on the science behind sport performance. Avi is a Master of Science candidate in Kinesiology, researching the impacts of elite-level powerlifting on the aging process. Throughout this research Avi has contributed to the body of knowledge on long term athletic development and exercise science.
Avi is the founder of My Strength Book, an application lifters can use to log, monitor and assess training, as well as get access to training programs created by world class coaches.

Mike Israetel, PhD discusses the relative importance of carbohydrates for strength athletes, planning nutrition periodization for strength athletes and how to structure mesocycles for strength gain.
Mike Israetel, PhDMike Israetel is currently a professor of Exercise Science at Temple University in Philadelphia, as well consulting nutritional and training for elite strength and combat athletes around the world. Mike is the head science consultant for Renaissance Periodization, where he has authored and co-authored a number for books. He has a PhD in Sport Physiology from East Tennessee State University, and on the sporting side has experience as a competitive powerlifter, grappler and bodybuilder.

Rori Alter is the founder of Progressive Rehab & Strength. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), as well as being a competitive powerlifter herself.
Competitive AthleteRori holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Boston University. At Boston University, she specialized in Human Physiology, a topic that has fascinated her since she was a young dancer training in New York City.
Following her doctorate, Rori entered the competitive world of Powerlifting and is a nationally-ranked lifter with considerable achievements in the sport, including 4th place in the -72kg Open at 2015 USAPL raw nationals, and 1st place in the -75kg class at the 2014 USPA open.

Greg Nuckols is the founder of StrongerByScience.com, a website that provides comprehensive information about how to get stronger and more jacked. Greg has over a decade of experience under the bar, and a BS in Exercise and Sports Science. He’s held 3 all-time world records in powerlifting in the 220 and 242 classes, and is pursuing graduate research at UNC-Chapel Hill, under the supervision of Dr. Abbie Smyth-Ryan.
He’s trained hundreds of athlete and regular folks, both online and in-person. He’s written for many of the major magazines and websites in the fitness industry, including Men’s Health, Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Bodybuilding.com, T-Nation, and Schwarzenegger.com.

LS McClain competes in the -93kg class in the USAPL, representing the US national team at several world championships over the past number of years. He is part of the team at De Novo Nutrition.

Eric has been involved in the fitness industry since the early 2000’s. For the better part of his career he’s been a coach at 3D Muscle Journey, working with drug free strength and physique competitors at all levels. A competitive athlete himself, he has pro status with the Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association and competes with the IPF at the international level as an unequipped powerlifter.
Eric has published multiple peer reviewed articles in exercise science and nutrition journals and writes for commercial fitness publications. He’s taught undergraduate and graduate level nutrition and exercise science and speaks internationally at academic and commercial conferences for fitness, nutrition and strength and conditioning. He has a BS in fitness and wellness, an MS in exercise science, a second masters in sports nutrition, and is a strength and conditioning PhD candidate at AUT in New Zealand.

Hani Jazayrli is a competitive & record-holding powerlifter currently competing in the 93kg and 105kg weight class of the USAPL. Hani has been a coach with The Strength Athlete staff since 2014, working with a wide range of powerlifters, including currently being the coach to IPF world record holder Garrett Blevins. He is also an USAPL senior national coach.

Matt Gary has been a competitive, drug-free powerlifter for 20 years. His educational background includes a BS in Kinesiological Science from the University of Maryland.
