Reddy would become one of the biggest superstars of her time, and her eponymous song I Am Woman was the first number one hit on the Billboard charts by an Australian-born artist and the first Australian-penned song to win a Grammy Award. I Am Woman would come to reflect the challenges of the Australian film industry in a post-COVID world, as it was due to open the 2020 Gold Coast Film Festival before the festival’s unfortunate cancellation in March. It’s since found new life as a Stan Original Film and will premiere on the streaming service on 28th August 2020. -
