Why did we call our new documentary series on Luis Enrique You Have No F*****g Idea? *
How did the access granted to us by the PSG manager reach LEVELS above that given to streaming series such as All or Nothing?
How did we take on the tragedy at the centre of the story?
And what was Luis Enrique’s response when we screened the finished product for him?

Hard-faced Manuel Pellegrini LOVES a resurrection shuffle!
He had Juan Román Riquelme playing his BEST football at Villarreal, rescued Isco from Sevilla - and now, he’s got an UNSTOPPABLE Antony swaggering.
But look beyond the magic, and there’s a SERIOUS issue at Betis that Chelsea can exploit to win Wednesday’s final…
They’re exciting, but flawed: here’s why!

Now I’m not here to criticise English football, not at all - but the Europa League final wasn’t exactly a classic.
📢 Were the teams over-drilled?
🏋️ Are the players TOO physical?
🧠 And where were the strategies for using space and the ball??

Apologies to Manchester United fans, this is not a perfectly balanced preview of the Europa League final from Bilbao. But it shouldn’t be, because I’m here with Duncan McMath and the director of Take the Ball, Pass the Ball and You Have No F*****g Idea is a Spurs fan and sometimes we forget what matches like that mean when it’s your team that’s playing.
So I’m not treating Duncan like a neutral here. I want to know what he thinks but mostly what he feels about what’s about to go down here in Bilbao.

What a weekend!
Barcelona party and pay the price as Villarreal make it to the Champions League.
Luka Modrić looks like he can play into his 40s at Madrid.
It’s Leganés against Espanyol to avoid the drop - and the result could mean that one of Europe’s best young goalkeeper is for sale at a 50% discount.
And Celta, Rayo or Osasuna will nab the final European spot.
Don’t miss a minute of it!

The celebrations are over in Hansi Flick’s office – he’s already pouring over next season’s blueprint.
How can Flick build on the successes of this EXTRAORDINARY season? What needs to change? And WHY is he willing to sacrifice one UNIQUE aspect of Barça’s game that makes them so beautiful to watch?
Hope you’re all ears, Socios.

You’ll all know the news by now – LaLiga is going blaugrana for the 28th time.
You’ll also know, if you watched my recent video, that it meant EVERYTHING for Barça to snatch the title away to their bitter cross-city rivals, Espanyol.
But you WON’T know just how BONKERS their celebrations were!
* 🎉 Which Barça player had to be ESCORTED from Las Ramblas for partying with the fans?
* 🌊 Which former Barça president went for a post-match dip at Barceloneta??
* 🚲 And which players went for a cycle STRAIGHT after the final whistle?!
It was quite the night. Here’s the inside scoop….

A title won with kids - and one who is clearly, already, first among equals. A title win playing daring, beautiful football that has won the hearts of a new generation of fans.
There’s a lot to talk about - a lot to celebrate in how they did it.

You’ll all know what happened at the Bernabéu last night. A centre-half with two first team appearances this season, assisting a 20 year old making his second start, for a last-minute winner.
It leaves Barcelona with a job to do tonight - and it’s a BRUTAL one. Espanyol have lost countless talents to Barcelona’s La Masia: Marc Cucurella, Clàudia Pina… even a certain Lamine Yamal!
Espanyol are HUNGRY for revenge - but Real Madrid could be the real winner tonight.
¿Hay Liga? We’ll see….

In the 40+ Clásicos I’ve worked for, this afternoon’s match SURELY ranks towards the very top.
George Foreman v Muhammad Ali. Tiger Woods v Phil Mickelson. The All Blacks v The Lions. Today’s El Clásico is right up there with the best sporting contests of the lot.
I CANNOT remember a fortnight or so quite like this one!

Well here we are. Last chance saloon for Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid.
It’s a big ask, but IF Real Madrid can win, I THINK they become title favourites. With a tough three Barcelona fixtures, and an easier run of form for Madrid, could Los Blancos save their season??
❓Is Balde fit to take part?

You know Pete Jenson - he was a regular on The Big Interview, he’s already popped up a couple of times on Revista de la Liga and if you watch Spanish football on television across the world, you’ve heard him on commentary.
I caught up with Pete for two videos - the second one is coming up tomorrow, but here’s Pete on how he preps for the big one and what it is that makes Barcelona v Real Madrid different to any other fixture in the world.
Those two are free for everyone… but when I send my breakdown of the Clásico after the final whistle in Barcelona, that one will only be for the socios, those of you who have signed up to support this channel.
Still to come in May…

Well, Barcelona have waved bye bye to the treble. But I DON’T think that it matters.
Did they make too many mistakes? ✅
Did they fail – CATASTROPHICALLY – to defend a 3-2 lead? ✅
But should they hang their heads in shame? ❌❌❌❌❌
There’s still a double for Hansi Flick to play for – and MANY positives to take from defeat at the San Siro. Socios: grab a brew, a…

Hansi Flick isn’t worrying about double-marking on Lamine Yamal, or Inter Milan’s clockwork 3-5-2 that they could play in their sleep. He just wants his team to have fun.
Have fun?? FUN?! In a Champions League semi?? Has he gone MAD?!!
I think Barcelona’s boss MIGHT have been tucking into the CBD gummies ahead of his press conference. But, as his inexperienced whizz-kids prepare to face a team BUILT to win this tournament, has he had the right idea?
If it’s anywhere near as exciting as the first leg, we might all need a visit to the happy world of Haribo Hansi…

May 1, 2005. An indelible moment.
Ronaldinho to Messi. History. The start of a journey that changed football and made the lives of all of us who love this game that bit richer.
May 1, 2025. Lamine Yamal is still a month younger than Messi was when he piggybacked on Ronaldinho in celebration of that goal. And he has won the Euro, the Copa del Rey… hell, he’s chasing a treble, not as a bit-part player but a leading man/boy.
This is me on Leo and Lamine.
He’s not Messi mark II. But he’s a bona fide footballing genius.
What do you think?
