Anson has coached the University of North Carolina Women for 45 years where he has led the Tarheels to 21 National Championships and won over 900 games. Coach Dorrance is a 7x National Coach of the Year and also coached the US Women’s National Team from 1986 to 1994, leading Team USA to the title in the first-ever Women’s World Cup in China in 1991. Over that time, as the winningest coach in program history, he has led Ole Miss to 18 postseason appearances, eight Super Regionals and two trips to the College World Series.
