Hi guys :) Anna here, writing the show notes in first person today. As this episode is perhaps my most personal, I wanted the show notes to be personal, too.
Most importantly, I want to start off with a Trigger Warning: this episode discusses trying to conceive, conceiving, pregnancy, miscarriage/pregnancy loss, and more aspects of (in)fertility. Depending on your personal experiences, this may be an episode that you choose to skip. Please know that if you are someone who is experiencing any degree of difficulty or sadness surrounding these topics, my heart is with you. If you need to unsubscribe, mute, or unfollow in order to take care of yourself during this time, please know that I understand that. I am so sorry for your pain. I am sending you all the baby dust.
If you do choose to tune into this episode, you can expect to hear Jordin and me discussing …
• My TTC journey
• How and when I found out I was pregnant
• How I told Devin
• The sex of the baby?!
• And more :)
I also need to give you the disclaimer that pregnancy brain is real and I misspoke a few times in this episode…
• When I was talking about BBT, I said it in reverse. What I meant to say is that your temperature will drop first (before ovulation), and then it should rise for 3 consecutive days, confirming ovulation.
• Devin does not have a big brother. Devin IS a big brother.
• I said I found out I was pregnant in May. No I didn’t — I got pregnant in May. I found out I was pregnant in June!
(Oops!)
Thank you so much for your support during this exciting time for me! I can’t wait to take you along for the ride!

We're back! Anna starts the episode with another quarantine update: AKA, she fills us in on how it's going with her boyfriend. We get a few other updates, too: like exercising in quarantine, new beauty products she's obsessed with, and her new favorite podcast.
Then we're joined by call-in guest Terra Newell - the REAL Terra Newell - from Dirty John! Terra is famous for being the hero in the Dirty John story, surviving an attack from her stepfather in the parking garage of her apartment and stabbing him to death to defend herself. We talk narcissists/sociopaths/psychopaths, women's self defense, and dating after trauma. It's an interview you won't want to miss, as we learn so much more about who Terra is beyond the Dirty John story.
We close the episode with the pop culture drama you've all been waiting for us to discuss: the #freebritney movement. If you're wondering what's really going on with Britney Spears, you've come to the right place. (Note: our analysis is based on the information we have access to, which we realize is not the full and intimate story of Britney's conservatorship. We respect her privacy and wish her all the best).

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, THE ENOUGH PODCAST! It's TEP's first birthday today, and we're celebrating with all of you by starting our 20th episode on a walk down memory lane. We talk about our favorite things from each episode, and then we interview Lexie Skipper from Netflix's Love Is Blind. She gives us the behind-the-scenes scoop on the couples, the casting process, and why some of the engagements, like hers, weren't aired on the show.

After a 2-month recording hiatus, we’re back! Anna and Jordin start the episode by sharing their quaran-tips, including a deep-dive into the 5 Love Languages and how to apply them in a pandemic. We then belatedly dissect the dumpster fire that was Peter’s season of The Bachelor: narcissistic Victoria, codependent Peter and his toxic mother Barb, as well as the difference between Madi and Luke P’s ultimatums.
Stephanie DiPisa, founder of Solara Suncare, calls in to teach us everything about what clean SPF really means. We debunk sunscreen myths, discuss the process of making the shift to clean lifestyle changes, and explore how branding and public relations play a role in entrepreneurship (and how you, too, can use your skills from previous jobs to start new business ventures).
Anna closes the episode recommending some products that she claims are changing her life in the feminine health department. To make up for lost time, it’s our longest episode yet.
To our listeners: if you’re struggling during the quarantine, we are here for you. So take a deep breath, order yourself some Solara Suncare, and know that this will get better. Here Comes The Sun.

We discuss how it differs from other personality tests and why it's been breaking the Internet.
We close the episode with a resource on changing your views - and a personal anecdote on how loved ones aren't always supportive of growth. The first episode of 2020 is packed with vulnerability - don't miss it!
