    Jillian Roberts: Educator, Entertainer, Entrepreneur

Jillian Roberts, affectionately known as "Miss Jill," has been a beloved content creator on YouTube for over a decade. Her journey began as a high school teacher, where she spent 11 years inspiring and educating students before transitioning to a dynamic role in marketing and communications within the education sector.

A long-time user and advocate of Ecamm, Jill became a livestream coach by crafting innovative tutorials and workarounds in the early days of Ecamm's livestream software. Her hands-on experience in a large variety of case-studies, both behind the scenes and on-camera, has provided her with invaluable insights, benefiting her career in education and municipal government while also expanding her client list as a small business owner.

Jill's expertise extends beyond education, as she collaborates with clients across various industries, leveraging her live-streaming, social media, and video production skills. She has also worked with clients to create their home studios, ensuring they have the perfect setup for success. Known for being an innovative problem solver, Jill helps clients achieve their end goals using the equipment and technology they have access to, no matter their budget. Her approach, influenced by her teaching background, is light-hearted yet passionate, always focused on helping others and creating a fun, supportive space for them to shine and grow.

With a deep passion for language acquisition, music, and the arts, Jill seamlessly integrates these elements into her projects. Though she has spent the past few years primarily behind the scenes, she is thrilled to jump back in with Katie, Doc and the #EcammFam for upcoming streams and future projects. Jill is excited to reunite with many friends and the broader Ecamm community at this year's Creator Camp. She looks forward to rekindling old connections and forming new ones, all while sharing her enthusiasm for helping others and creating engaging content.

Producing a podcast can initially seem daunting; it's easy to feel overwhelmed when starting something new. Using a Video First approach with Ecamm Live will make it much easier and save you lots of time.

This week on The Flow, Katie is joined by Kiona Nessenbaum, host of the Birth As We Know It podcast dedicated to recognizing the many different ways birth unfolds. We're chatting with Kiona about how she started her podcasting journey, her recording process, and the questions she's had along the way.

    Who is Kiona?

Kiona Nessenbaum lives in the PNW with her husband, Kumar, their three children, and two dogs. She loves to read and go on hikes when time allows, loves spending quality time with her family, and has a strong passion for all things birth.

Kiona has professionally experienced over 140 births as a student midwife, birth doula, and birth assistant. Unfortunately, she had to leave midwifery school in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She plans on returning to midwifery school someday, but for now, she continues to practice as a doula for her loved ones.

Kiona is also the host of the Birth As We Know It podcast, which is dedicated to recognizing the many different ways birth unfolds. She is deeply interested in learning more about how unique birth is to each individual. Hearing this directly from the voices of those who have experienced it is an opportunity she doesn’t want to miss.
