Brett Gallant of Newfoundlands beloved Team Gushue, and Jocelyn Peterman of Manitobas team Jones.
Both join the call from Jocelyns family home in Red Deer, Alberta where they have been social distancing.
When COVID-19 hit both of their seasons were halted, Brett was weeks away from the Worlds, and both were set to be in Olds Alberta for the Champions Cup, an event that was building in local excitement and nearing capacity from ticket sales. We talk about the abrupt end to the season, how they have been passing the time, Jocelyns remodelling skills and her vision for her family home, and of course the positives they have found during COVID-19.
Later in the episode Brett talks about his third Brier title and reminisce about the iconic moment in front of what was probably the most ruckus crowd in curling history, as Newfoundland became team Canada in front of a sold out arena in St. Johns.

Liz is a singer-songwriter from rural Alberta. She cultivated a deep-rooted passion for music at a very early age. Liz had penned dozens of songs and released a full-length LP. By the time she turned 20, the song-count was in the hundreds.
