Hour 1
Last night, the Mets' offense erupted, highlighted by Pete Alonso's grand slam, a much-needed boost according to Gio. Jerry's update featured Alonso's homer with Howie Rose's call, Jameis Winston's jovial press conference, and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam's admission of Deshaun Watson's failed acquisition. Finally, the Jets revealed they've offered voluntary buyouts to a significant portion of their staff.
Hour 2
A video of DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers working out sparked Gio's frustration over Rodgers' drawn-out decision, questioning why a deal with the Steelers isn't finalized. The Deshaun Watson situation was revisited, with Gio asserting Watson's indifference to his reputation. Jerry's update covered Mets highlights, Rafael Devers' struggles, Carson Kelly's cycle, the Braves' winless start, Aaron Glenn's press conference, and the Titans' draft openness. Mike Tomlin addressed the Rodgers situation, and rumors circulated about Rodgers announcing his Steelers move on Pat McAfee's live show in Pittsburgh. Jameis Winston's Giants press conference and Frank Reich's interim coaching role at Stanford, with Andrew Luck as GM, concluded the hour.
Hour 3
The discussion about Frank Reich's Stanford interim coaching role continued, with calls for a potential "Football Friday" trip to California to see Stanford and to play golf at Pebble Beach. Jerry's update highlighted Brandon Nimmo's home run for the Mets, Carlos Mendoza's offensive analysis, Evan Roberts' bold claim about Aaron Judge, Ely De La Cruz's impressive RBI performance, Aaron Glenn's QB1 statement, Kevin Stefanski's Shedeur Sanders mention, and Jameis Winston's receiver comments. The hour concluded with a segment on Polymarket, a platform for betting on pop culture events, notably Sydney Sweeney's broken engagement.
Hour 4
Tiger Woods' April Fool's joke about playing the Masters sparked discussion, with Boomer considering his own prank about taking the Maryland Athletic Director job, prompting Gio to compare it to Stanford's offensive coordinator role. The Giants' draft strategy, particularly regarding Shedeur Sanders, was debated. Jerry's final update included Brian Daboll's quarterback focus, Jameis Winston's QB expectations, Jimmy Haslam's Deshaun Watson admission, and Gio's Tush Push criticism. Ochocinco's jab at Shannon Sharpe and Howie Rose's Mets call were featured. The Moment of the Day highlighted Woody Johnson's unusual praise of Aaron Glenn. Boomer concluded the show with good news for Rangers fans. -

Gio doesn’t like the idea of the NFL potentially outlawing the Tush Push because one team is good at it. Ochocinco said Shannon Sharpe is ‘alive, but you’re not living’. We heard Howie Rose on the call as Pete Alonso hit a grand slam as the Mets beat the Marlins in Miami. Rafael Devers has struck out 15 times in 19 official plate appearances. The Moment of The Day: Woody Johnson knows Aaron Glenn is a winner because he’s a loser.
-
We talked more about the Giants draft and if fans would be ok if they passed on Shedeur Sanders if he was still there at three.
-
Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of Howie Rose as Brandon Nimmo homered as the Mets offense broke out in their win against the Marlins. Carlos Mendoza talked about the offense last night compared to Houston. Evan Roberts claims he could have gotten Aaron Judge out if he was on the Brewers. Ely De La Cruz had 7 RBIs last night for the Reds. Aaron Glenn said Justin Fields may be the QB1 right now, that’s written in pencil. Kefin Stefanski talked about Shedeur Sanders as the Browns have the number two pick. Jameis Winston met the media and talked about the Giants wide receivers.
-
We talked more about Frank Reich taking the interim head coaching job at Stanford. A caller said they are playing North Carolina, so Boomer has to go to that game since Frank will be coaching against Bill Belichick. Maybe we’ll do a football Friday from out in California, go see a Stanford game, and play golf at Pebble Beach. We talked about playing Pebble Beach and how we now must make this trip happen.
-
Mike Tomlin addressed the Rodgers situation, and rumors circulated about Rodgers announcing his Steelers move on Pat McAfee's live show in Pittsburgh.
-
DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers were working out together and video surfaced online. Gio cannot believe Rodgers is dragging this out again, holding another franchise hostage. He has had weeks to decide what to do. You can’t have Metcalf with George Pickens and then have Mason Rudolph as your quarterback. Boomer thinks the deal is already done with the Steelers and Rodgers. Gio wonders why they don’t just announce it then.
-
Devers strikes out again in Baltimore. Jameis Winston finally met the media and he brings ‘giggles, laughter and fun’. Browns owner Jimmy Haslam finally admitted Deshaun Watson was a big swing and a miss.
-
Gio wonders if Rafael Devers is striking out on purpose because he doesn’t want to DH. Boomer said no way he’s doing that, but Gio said ‘there’s a chance’. Gio said, ‘came in, porked up, throwing games’ of Devers.

Hour 1
The Yankees' power surge and "torpedo" bats dominated weekend sports talk, overshadowing the Mets' quiet offense and solid pitching, though Francisco Lindor's annual slow start raised concerns. Meanwhile, the Yankees' sweep of the Brewers sparked debate, with Gio jokingly comparing the bats to steroids. Other highlights included Jeff Conine's Marlins Hall of Fame induction coinciding with his son's home run, a Timberwolves/Pistons melee, and the Jets' decision to start Justin Fields. Off-field, Suzanne Somers' husband's robot tribute and Morgan Wallen's abrupt SNL exit, fueled by speculation about "wokeness" and his dislike of NYC, also drew attention.
Hour 2
Gio's charity bartending experience highlighted the challenge of finding game broadcasts in public venues, while Boomer embarked on a cleanse for an upcoming hockey tournament. The Yankees' "torpedo" bats remained a hot topic, and the YES Network head criticized Comcast during a booth appearance. Jerry's update featured Dave Sims' call of a Judge home run and his odd TMZ encounter, prompting Gio's skepticism. The Knicks' victory over Portland and Gio's daughter's struggling soccer team provided lighter moments, while Dodgers pitcher Roki Sasaki's emotional dugout appearance concluded the hour.
Hour 3
Deion Sanders' new Colorado deal dashed hopes of him coaching his son elsewhere, prompting improbable Cowboys scenarios. NFL draft speculation intensified, particularly the Giants' potential moves, while the Jets' strategy remained a mystery. The conversation veered into pyramid technology theories before Jerry's update, which featured Jazz Chisholm and Aaron Judge highlights, Dave Portnoy's Yankees bat rant, and Francisco Lindor's slump. The Knicks' victory and Mike Tomlin's Rodgers comments were noted, culminating in a discussion about trampoline park hygiene, with Gio expressing concerns about ball and foam pit cleanliness.
Hour 4
With the Real ID deadline approaching, travel plans were discussed alongside Gio's guest bartending event, where Peter Schwartz's appearance and Pat Boyle's potential football career were highlighted. Eddie's UFL experience and Jerry's update, featuring Giants draft anticipation and NFL owner meeting comments from Aaron Glenn and Mike Tomlin, filled the sports segment. Jazz Chisholm and Francisco Lindor's performances were analyzed, followed by the Knicks' victory. The day's "Moment" focused on a Suzanne Somers robot, concluding with the YES Network/Comcast dispute. -
