Most of us love to travel, but the question is HOW do we travel?
When I say how, I mean how do we actually prepare ourselves physically mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually.
Our guest @dianabellywitch is a writer, an author, and a writer's coach who sees travel as a retreat. To her, travel allows her to restore herself to factory reset. When she travels, she has this ritual that she follows that allows her to always leave something behind and bring in something new that would better herself.
Let's hear and learn more of her travel ritual so that we too can deepen ourselves every time we travel.

Our episode for today will not be as usual as we've invited over a speaker on the topic of overcoming the fear of flying.
There's a number of us who have a fear of heights or a fear of flying that prevents us from being able to travel and I think it's just right to be able to hear from someone who has the expertise in this field to help us overcome these fears and be able to discover more of the world and more of ourselves.
Alon Pereg is an airline pilot who is committed to help people overcome the fear of flying. He developed a course to help fearful flyers, and ran it with 88% success rate. Now this course is transferred to a mobile app, including a real-time chat service with a network of pilots.
Join us on Wednesday as we hear from Captain Pereg @apereg himself.

Our next guest is no other than the Founder of Lotus Sojourns, Christine Winebrenner Irick. Her company was born from the desire to connect with herself, other cultures, and a community of like- minded people across the globe.
What makes Christine special is that she designs travel that not only helps people understand themselves and the culture but one that also has a social impact. She promotes a sustainable way of traveling which I belive is a vital step in order to preserve nature and the world around us.

We all come to a point in our lives where our children grow up and eventually go their own ways. When this happens, it can get lonely and we feel lost.
Our next guest is an empty nester mother of two who decided to leave her apartment and move to a 65-square-foot camper van.
It was an adventure of a lifetime filled with challenges, loneliness, tears, adaptation, growth, joys and laughters.
Really excited to hear @melissadivine_medium vanlife stories especially during the pandemic when traveling has become more challenging with all the lockdowns in full swing.

"You have x months to live"
What would you do when someone tells you that you have exactly limited days to live left?
What do you want to do in the remaining days you have?
The thought is scary but it also makes you think carefully about your choices, right?
Will you be staying safe or going all out?
Our guest for our next episode had this very creepy experience when she received a cryptic letter predicting her death later that year involving a car accident. Upon knowing this, she decided to avoid any form of vehicles to lessen the chances of these accidents. She walked miles and miles. However, later on, somehow and in someway, she decided to accept the invite of a pilgrim to join them in a taxi tractor.
What happened next? Well, let's hear it from Terri Hunter herself @terrihikingguide @freeterri -

Seems like a lot? Well, today, she is not just living abroad, but she is travelling the world. Every few months, she moves from one country to another. According to her, each new discovery gives her energy and each fear she overcame is a boost in her confidence.

You are raised to believe that anywhere other than America is unloveable, but that is just so far from the truth"
Our next guest, Ciara Carter for the longest time , believed that America is the greatest place to live in . She didn't like the thought of leaving America, and immersing herself in another culture. She closed off herself to anything outside the bounds of her "home"
This was until she landed in Egypt. First, she realized that other places are liveable too! She got a new sense of gratitude for people, culture, and new places. She developed a better attitude towards life, leaving behind the entitlement that kept her from exploring for a long time.
Today, she not only does she take care of her mental and physical health but also helps other people achieve the same!
Join @runthrivesurvive and I and hear her story on how travel helped changed her outlook in life. -
Would you leave a stable job that you love without having any plans ahead?
We've heard of stories about individuals quitting a job because s/he feel burnt out, but our next guest is quite different. She quit a job she loves because she feels within her that she is being called for the next adventure. This adventure started on a 6-week adventure in South America, but this trip more than anything, opened her eyes on how much her identity is tied up to her job which led her to ask "Who am I outside of work?"
Today, she advocates to Set Yourself Free. @setyourselffree.llc believes that we have to chase freedom to see and be our limitless potential.
Join us as we hear more how her trip changed the way she see life.

Our first guest for the year is someone who, I can say, has contributed significantly in the travel industry.
Like many of us, she came from a place where she was trying to figure out what she wanted to do in life. It was when she was sent to live in a small two-island nation in the Gulf of Guinea that she decided to start her blog-- A blog that eventually turned into an international collective of women travelers and travel content creators. This blog became her voice.
Today, she leads and inspires women to travel the world while continuously changing the way the entire travel industry operates.
Let's hear more about how this journey had began and how it's going from no other than Beth Santos of the @Wanderful.

Sometimes it takes one person to push us to do something, but it is ultimately ourselves who makes that decision to take the leap of faith.
For our next guest, Stephanie, this push came from the man behind the ticket counter who convinced her to give the place another chance before leaving.
This was during her first solo trip, she wanted to experience the Navrati dance festival but was initially overwhelmed by the colors, smells, and the people, then she decided she should leave the place immediately. Good thing she was convinced to give this place another chance. This chance gave that trip a whole new meaning and experience. It made her more open to experiencing things and relied more on her intuition.
Today, she's an intuitive coach who helps in activating your intuition to create your best life.
Hear more of her story as we chat with her.

Our next guest has a very interesting and inspiring story to tell. For thirty seven years, Anthony has been a professional pilot/ manager. He flew around the world.
However, in an unexpected turn of events, during his fifties, he and his wife Catherine received some serious news. They found out that he has to undergo a heart-valve replacement while his wife had an early onset of Alzheimer's. This was heavy and heartbreaking news, but their reaction was an unexpected one. They decided to retire, sell their house, and become nomads.
Instead of stopping their lives, they decided to live a life of joy and create new memories to cherish for a lifetime. As of now, they have already ran at least half a marathon in 35 countries in all 7 continents. What an impressive feat!
Join me and hear how he is courageously living and enjoying every moment of his life. -
How many languages do you speak?
It's hard to master a language aside from your mother tongue, but our next guest, @lindanastasia44 can speak 5 languages fluently.
How she does that, I don't know. But what I know is that travelling and language has helped her reconnect with her roots. It was in a trip to Hamburg that she got to meet her cousins for the first time. They were able to bond and connect.
According to her, this trip made her experience so much love and connection. She got to know herself better and somehow got more clarity on what she to do next.
Afterwards, she got the courage to find a new job, leave a worn out relationship and move-out.
How exactly she had these process of realizations, let's find out as we chat with her tonight at 7pm live on Instagram.

"I learned to live a life of bold trust."
This is a quote from our next guest, Robin Finney. She is a Intuitive & Authenticity Guide, creator of Soulo Experiences, and an international model, and speaker. She is definitely a lot of things but this did not come in an instant.
Back then, she was the type to use travel as a form of escape from her usual life. She would come from a trip, depressed and hoping for the next trip.
Her travels have helped her become bolder and more confident in herself and her capabilities. She discovered that that she can lean to her gifts to support her in her travels. She learned to trust her body to tell her where to go and not go.
This confidence build up has allowed her to pursue her dreams and discover her authentic self. I think this is one of the most important takeaway of our travels because in any goal we want to achieve, it starts with understanding and discovering ourselves, what are strengths and weaknesses are, what we like and dont like. From there, we can be anything we want to be.
Tune in to hear more of Robin's story. -
Do transformations need to be life changing?
Sometimes when we talk about transformation, we just think about the end goal, the finish line. We think transformations needs to be a huge change, but in reality, nothing is instant. It is always a process, and a process that follows our own timing.
Our next guest is a baker based in the UK. With her busy schedule and daily hustle, she uses travelling as her way to unwind and relax after a stressful stretch. I'm sure many of us can relate to this. Seeing different places do help in getting our minds off our work and stress.
For Anuja @anujavakil, however , more than the relaxation, she uses her time in travelling as a mediation. This activity refuels her with positive vibes which she uses as a motivation to power through in running her bakery business. Besides that, by consistently exposing herself to local bakeries, she continuously improves her skills in baking-- applying new learnings and technologies to her own bakery-- all contributing to the success of Anuja's Bakehouse. This way, every time she travels, she comes back a renewed and better baker/ business woman.
Join me as we hear more of Anuja's perspective in travelling. How is she able to use travelling as a source of atomic transformations rather than just merely a form of escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life? -
If you have already listened to at least one of our episodes, then you already know that travel indeed fosters personal growth. This time, we have @annemchalewine to tell us how travelling has helped her advance, appreciate, and discover her career, turned passion.
Anne is a Master of Wine. Ask her anything about wine, she'll know :) She says her vast knowledge and expertise in winery came from years of exposure and years of travelling to experience these wines herself. The ability to see, smell, taste and experience the places where wine is grown enabled her to truly deepen her understanding to this industry.
Knowing the people behind these wines, the culture, the why's and the how's make the wine more than just a bottled liquid. And just like in anything, this exposure creates passion and deep understanding that you can't just achieve while staying at home and reading the brochures/ researches or listening to others' accounts.
If you're excited to hear more about Anne's experience in discovering her passion or if you simply want to know more about wine, you should listen to this episode. -
Personal Growth. I believe this is something that is common to each one of us. Consciously or unconsciously, we all want growth-- growth not just in our career, but our overall holistic growth.
Our next guest speaker is a Travel and Life Abroad Coach who helps people move and settle abroad. Veerle went into this career based on her own personal growth experience through travelling. Prior to being a Life Abroad coach, she was already involved in the travelling industry and her experiences all contributed to her understanding on how living abroad can be life changing. This deep understanding (of herself and her surroundings) gave her more confidence and more motivation to create a future she wanted, instead of feeling the pressure to conform to society's norms.
But she says, all these did not come without struggles. Let's hear from @unpackbyveer on what made her decide to leave home and how she coped with the challenges of moving into an entirely new place.
How about you? Are you willing to take on that start-from-scratch trip too? -
We've heard that travelling can help us relax. It makes us see beautiful sights; allows us to meet new people, learn new things, discover cultures, etc.. But today, we talk about how TRAVELLING HEALS.
Have you always wanted to do something but end up not doing it because you don't have a company? Wanting to go somewhere but no one's available to join you on this trip? Well, a solo trip could be something you can explore.
Our guest, Jackie Roby from Inspired Journey Consulting shares to us how her first solo travel paved the way for her to heal from her traumatic experience that constantly weighed her down.
This trip she took allowed her to make peace with herself, understand where her stress is coming from and eventually make bold and strategic decisions in her life that propelled her to become the Chief Excellence Officer of @inspiredjourneyconsulting where she advocates wellness travel and inspires more people to travel to heal.
Travel indeed does wonders to our physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual health. Let's hear more from Jackie Roby, herself. - Mostrar más
