SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT! We are now a charity!
What that means is that we can now help even more women who have experienced miscarriage and baby loss.
For the past four years, The Worst Girl Gang Ever has supported these women through this podcast by sharing personal stories of grief and we’ve built an international community. However, to expand our impact we needed charitable status. Achieving this goal in October allows us to greatly increase the accessibility of our courses and support groups by making them free.
We have dedicated a lot of time and effort to make this vision a reality and now as a registered charity we can help every woman feel less alone during one of the darkest times in their life by addressing both the practical and emotional hardships of this experience.

This episode features a powerful conversation with Tom de Freston, a published author who has written about the devastating experience of miscarriage and baby loss. Tom shares his and his wife Kiran’s personal journey, including the loss of twins and a subsequent ectopic pregnancy.
He describes the lack of adequate information and support they received, as well as the emotional toll the experiences took on their relationship. From heartbreaking separations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, to ignorant comments from medical professionals, Tom articulates the experiences of far too many people.
In this episode, you'll discover:
Tom and Kiran’s experience of recurrent losses
The lack of adequate information and support they received, and the emotional toll it had on their relationship
The pain caused by their forced separation during key moments due to Covid-19
The insensitive, and downright racist, language used by a medical professional
Writing as a way to explore grief and connect with people
